I'm in the practice room waiting for Patsy to get here. We're supposed to practice for our duets. And here she comes now!
"Hey Skylar! Hope you weren't waiting for long." Patsy asks me.
"No no. I guess we should stretch and get started?" I suggest to her.
"Of course" Patsy say back.
After about 10 minutes of stretching we began the choreography. We ended up doing at least half of our dance. We took it from the top one last time just to wrap things up. The dance started with some 'Nutcracker' music and Patsy started off with 2 fan kicks ( Or as me and my friends call it 'Pancakes') then ended them with a Grande Jete roll. Then the music sped up a bit to a more jazzy vibe, and that's when I did a side kick. Then me and Patsy joined hands and did a forward ariel. We ended in the splits then rolled separate ways. We didn't finish the dance yet but we hope to do that after school and dance class tomorrow.
"This was a pretty good practice" I tell Patsy as we pick up our dance bags.
"It was. Hope we get the duet!" Patsy says crossing her finger with a huge smile on her face.
"I know this is so stressing but so fun." I tell her.
"So is your family coming down for the break or are you going back home?" Patsy asks me.
"we haven't really decided on that yet." I tell her
"Oh. Well I guess I'll see you tomorrow we better get some rest. See ya Skylar!" Pasty says while walking off.
"Bye Patsy!" I holler back at her.
This was a great day for a great practice with a great person to dance a great dance now for a great nap! Good night!
