Chapter 6

I got in the car and mikey started to drive off. i was starting to wonder why justin looked so mad, i wanted to text him but it isn't any of my business. "are you ok back there you seem quiet" Mikey says. "yea I'm just thinking about things" i say staring out of the window. "well its always good to think about things" mikey says. "yea i guess but I'm just sort of concerned about someone"

"let me guess justin huh?" mikey asks, i could see him smirking from where i was sitting in back of the car. "yea how did you know?"

"because he was arguing with hailey and it seemed pretty serious and plus you looked like you didn't want to intervene" mikey says. "oh... well i didn't want to intervene but aren't they a thing?"

"I think you're gonna have to ask justin that yourself." mikey says and i nod my head and stare at the car window again. The rest of the car ride was silent, when he stopped in front of my house i said bye to mikey and came out of the car. when i walked into the house it was still empty so i checked the time and it was 1am so i know my mom isn't coming home till probably monday. seems like i have the house to myself all weekend. i go upstairs and take off everything and walk into the bathroom (in my room) to take a shower since i smell like vodka and lemons and possibly justin's saliva when I'm done i hop out of the shower and put on some shorts that are a bit short and a long baggy shirt i didn't put on a bra because I'm too lazy and kind of tired.

I sit on my bed and opened my laptop as I'm waiting until it turns on i hear my phone ding about five times. since my bag was on my bed i leaned over to get my phone from the bag and then just threw my bag on the floor beside me. i look at my phone and i have 2 missed calls a text from justin and 2 voicemails so i unlock my phone and i go to my contacts to see who i missed the calls from. one was from my mom and one from my dad i check my dads voicemail first since its shorter.

Voicemail from dad: hey sutton I'm assuming your mother told you about tomorrow but i can't go shopping with you in the morning because i have a business meeting on short notice all day tomorrow but I'm not cancelling me you and ashley (fathers new wife) could go to dinner tomorrow night if you like. just get back to me when you can i know your probably sleeping so talk to you tomorrow bye sweetie love you.

i knew he was gonna push it back that what he always does but at least he never cancels. so i guess i will go to dinner tomorrow night so i decide to shoot him a quick text. I go back to my voicemails to hear my mom voicemail.

voicemail from mom: hey sweetheart i know your probably still at the party but i just wanted to let you know that I'm not coming home tonight. but I'm coming back sunday morning to pack my things because Eric surprised me with a trip to hawaii as an anniversary gift so i'll be gone for about a month but i'll be back before your birthday for sure i promise. i will leave you money for the month and i will do grocery shopping before i leave. i will be leaving sunday night but i wanna spend the whole sunday with you before i leave. we can do anything you want ok. but i'll see you sunday sweet heart i love you so much bye.

they only been dating for like a month but i feel like he's a good guy for her and he i think he loves her. so i think this is the best gift she could have just to spend sometime with him. i then go to my messages since justin texted me.

justin: did you get home ok? i know when you were leaving i seemed a bit upset but i would like to come over and talk about things are you home alone?

me: yes you can come over I'm home alone my mom isn't coming back till sunday morning. and yes i did come home ok. and what things do you want to talk about?

justin: good and we have a lot of things to talk about that i can't say over the phone and cuz i don't wanna be alone tonight i just feel like talking to someone you know to vent. but you will see.
