"Why are you fighting me?" asked my bestfriend, Abby. "I'm not!" I yelled at her.
"Then why won't you go on a damn date? Come on! It's been over two year since you know what happened." Abby said following me around the kitchen of my bakery shop.
"Please, just stop! I can't handle you complaining about my own life!" I turned my back to her, so she wouldn't see the tears springing into my eyes.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to piss you off. I just want you to remember all the good things still waiting for you." Abby explained while coming up behind me and hugging me tightly.
I started crying now, hard and replied, "Abby, I don't know if there still is anything waiting for me anymore."
"Be patient and stay positive. I know one day everything will be better than great. It will be amazing and when that time comes, I will say I told you so." Abby started to giggle with tears in her eyes, too. "Thank you." I whispered still crying.
