The animal was obviously hurt, I couldn't tell if it was a large dog or a wolf. Wolves aren't common in the woods around here so I couldn't tell. So I stood there, motionless. The animal and whining and then he turned his gaze twords me. I jumped a bit, his eyes were a piercing green. He stared straight at me and I could feel cold sweat run down my neck. He then set his head down on the ground and huffed. I gulped, j should just leave him here. Then I started to back away, the animal whined louder. I felt horrible but I don't want to risk an arm and a leg for this animal. But of course I did, I slowly walked tword the animal and he was still. He did not growl nor bite at me. I crouched down slowly and hesitantly held out my hand. The wolf licked it as it shakley went up to his face. A wolf, licked, my hand. I was ecstatic, I started to pets his head and then I examined his wound. Seemed like a bullet of some sort. It was in his leg but thankfully not deep. I touched it and he started to growl so I backed up a bit.

"I-its okay I promise, I'll be back"

I spoke to the wolf and for some reason I thought he understood me. I ran back out of the woods and back to my house and got a wagon I used as a kid. It probably was to small for a huge wolf like him but it'll have to do. I pulled it back to the woods and set it by the wolf. I'm pretty small, so I probably won't be able to pick him up. I walked slowly over to the wolf and helped him up, he scratched at me a bit but it was alright. He limped over to the wagon and I helped him in it. I never thought a animal could be so large and heavy. I struggled to pull the wolf back to my house. I pulled the wagon into my garage and plopped myself on the floor out of breath. I haven't done physical activities in a long time and damn I was out of shape. I stood up and ran in my house to get a first aid kit and some medical stuff my mom keeps since she's a doctor. I walked out with them and the wolf was out of the wagon laying on the floor. I sat by him and pet him a bit. He nuzzled my hand and I smiled a bit. I kept thinking, wow I have a wolf in my garage and I'm petting him. Then I realized I have to treat his wound. I grabbed some disinfectant and poured some on a guaz. I slowly put it up to the wound and the wolf yelped a bit. I pet him to help him be more serene, and to have him not bite the shit out of my leg or something. I cleaned his wound and removed the bullet. I wrapped his leg and sat back. I didn't realize how tired I was and laid back and dozed off with my head resting on the wolf.
