Dipper's POV

Hi, my name is Dipper Pines. Me and my sister moved to Gravity Falls Oregon when we turned eighteen. We currently live in the Mystery Shack with our two great uncles, but we just call them grunkle stan, and grunkle ford.

I couldn't really get any sleep so I decided to take a walk through the woods. I had been walking for about thirty minutes and I finally found my normal "thinking spot", the place I confessed to Wendy, the place where I thought things through when I had "problems", the place where I met Bill. Wait, WHAT?!! Sitting on the log smirking at me sat bill, he had short blond hair and an eye patch covering one eye, the other was the most stunning yellow I've ever seen, it was such a bright yellow that it slightly illuminated the surroundings. He was dressed in a black and yellow tux, with black slacks and dress shoes. "Hiya, pinetree!, I hear you like my eye." He said through the smirk that was plastered on his face. I had so many questions running through my head, but two in particular I just so happened to blurt out. "BILL, SINCE WHEN WERE YOU HUMAN AND WHY ARE YOU HERE?!!"

"Calm down pinetree, I'm not going to hurt you. I just happen to know you hang out here a lot, and I just wanted to talk to you..." wait, what? Bill, the triangle that possessed me, broke into my grunkle stan's mind and tried to bring about the end of the world, wants to talk to me? Unbelievable.

"Why would you wanna talk to me?" Bill looked at the side then down to the ground and spoke softly then started to speak up the more he talked. "Well ya see pinetree, I'm human now and I'm really not sure how that happened...., so I was hoping you could help me reverse this." I was silent. ".............." But I just couldn't help but ask him one thing. "Cipher how the hell did you get into this, and why are you always dragging me into your problems?" I gave him an annoyed and condescending look. He just looked up at me and gave me a lop sided smirk, he stuck his hand out and as it ignited into his signature blue flames, he asked the one question I wasn't looking forward to. " Wanna make a deal, pinetree? "

I answered immediately "No, Cipher I'm not gonna help you. Fuck you." He replied equally as fast. "But pintree~, you haven't even heard what the deal is." "I don't wanna hear it, plus when have you ever helped me?" That was the point, that I truly stumped him. He just looked at the ground with an undescribable look, one between sadness and, regret? Did I hurt Bill's feelings when I asked him that? Wait what am I thinking this stupid isosceles demon doesn't have any feelings, then again.... didn't he say he was human now? I arched my ears back and put my hand on my chin, looking down at him I thought over the next words I would say carefully. Should I really trust him? After all that he has done to me? Relaxing my ears I let out a sigh. "Fine Cipher, What's the deal?" His ears perked up and he looked at me with pure joy, and surprise. "Really?!!" "Yes really, now tell me the terms of the deal so I can get this over with." He went back to his usual smirk and he started to speak. "Well here's the deal pinetree, you help me get back to my original form and I'll protect your family. Do we have a deal?" I stood there stunned with my ears dropped. Why would Cipher protect my family? "Cause I have no other choice, I mean come on pinetree I'm gonna have to stay with you while you figure out how this happened,-" He stopped talking and gestured to himself. " and I mean what else would you want anyway? Cause as far as I know pinetree you're not that selfish and you probably would want nothing more than to save and protect your family. Blah blah blah, more cliche junk." I just looked at him stunned, Cipher knew me like the back of his hand.

I just stood there for a second collecting my thoughts when I heard someone snapping there fingers in front of my face. "Pinetree, pinetree.... PINETREE!! Are you gonna accept the deal or not?" Bill was snapping at me, and I was about to reply when what he had said registered in my brain. "WAIT, WHAT?!, CIPHER YOU KNOW YOU CAN'T LIVE WITH ME! NO DEAL CIPHER GET THE HELL OUT OF MY SIGHT!" He looked both annoyed and stunned with my outburst. He then started to talk, slowly but with a saddened strength behind it, like he was trying to mask the pain he felt from having his deal, or more accurately his plead rejected. "But pinetree, where am I supposed to stay?. I'm human now I have a need for things like food, water, and shelter. So can you just forget about the past pinetree?" He paused then continued, saying very quietly but audible enough to be heard and stuttering, like it pained him to say it. "Pl-please, pinetree....." I couldn't help it, damn you for having a heart dipper. I cursed myself in my head for even considering this, but I feel like if I didn't accept it Bill would probably end up getting himself killed out here. I mean does he even know how to be human? Sighing I out stretched my hand towards Bill, he looked up at me with genuine surprise and happiness, the cocky smirk he once wore gone, replaced by nothing but pure happiness. He grabbed my out stretched hand and shook it vigorously. "So it's a deal?!" I paused but eventually stuttered out a reply. "D-deal."
