In a Demon World

Chapter 1: running for my life

Abby P.O.V.

I ran. As fast as my short legs could go, while stumbling a lot. It's not normal for a three year old to run for their life but here I am, running.

"Hurry Abby, there right behind us!" my mommy screams.

"I'm tired..." I say. I could feel my eyes getting heavy.

"ABBY!" my mommy shouts in alarm as the demon tackled her. I stared wide eyed at her as the male demon sinks his fangs into her.

"Go Abby..." She says just before I see the lights in her brown eyes go out. I run even faster then before. I don't want to die. Not like this! Something grabs the back of my shirt. I freeze. This is it, I'm going to die at the age of three. Tears roll down my cheek onto the forest floor.

"Don't cry little one," the vampire says. "we have to eat too."

"You killed my mommy..." I say while choking on my tears. I shut my eyes. He quickly spins me around. Just as I think he's about to kill me, he does something unexpected. He pushes a piece of my dirty raven hair out of my face.

"So pretty..." He mumbles. My breathing gets heavier.

"Open your eyes little one." I feel like if I don't ill get hurt.

Slowly, I pry open my eyes to see black ones staring at me. His eyes open wider as if he realizes something.

"What's your name?" he asks.

"Abigail Angelica Winters." I say without pausing to think. He looks like he's thinking.

"Well Abby," he starts to say. "I'm not going to kill you." I stare at him in shock. "I'm going to take you home with me."

What!? If I'm in a vampire village then they'll want to drink my blood!

He pulls out a dog, or should I say a human leash and ties it around my neck. It's blue with crystal clear diamonds in it. He starts to walk forward and I quickly follow after. He stops thinking some more. Then he flings me over his shoulder.

"Sleep..." He mumbles before I drift.

Okay please don't hate me. I'm writing this during a writers block and as you all know during a writers block it's really hard to write. Also I know it's really short so I'll try to wright again later today. So keep calm and read on!
