Where am I?

"Mr. Walker what a surprise to see you here!" The doctor said to me. Although his face had no expression on it, I could tell that he was glad.

"I am here for the girl that you just got out of surgery with." I said flatly. "So is she going to be okay though?" I asked with a little more concern then I should have used. I mean I just met the girl like two days ago!!! The doctor looked at me confused. 

"Yes, she.... she um.... She is alright."said the doctor. I started to nod my head. I looked at the doctor straight in the eye.

"Can I go see her?" I asked the doctor. I was excited that she was all right.

"Yes, but I have something to tell yo----" I was already running toward her room. Once I was inside the room I turned around and shut the door. I turned toward Delilah. She shivered. I looked down at her once I was by her bedside. She had tubes going into her nose. I had seen those in movies if they had a hard time breathing. She eyes start to flutter open. When her eyes are opened I see confusion in her eyes. She looks at me then shoots straight up and looks around the hospital room. When she looks back at me I see fury in her eyes.

"Delilah are you alright? You look like I just killed your pet dog." I said trying to bring some humor into her angry eyes.

"Who are you? How do you know my name? Who brought----" I cut off her anger babbling.

"You know who I am, and you have been living with me for the pass couple days and I brought you here." I said confused by her question 'Who are you?' I mean she should know who I am. She has been living with me for the past couple days.

"I dont know who you think you are but I know I wouldn-----"I cut her off again.

"Delilah please stop with the tricks and games you know who I am." I said with confusion and sadness in my voice. I heard someone clear their throat. I turned around to see the doctor.

"Can we please talk out in the hall. I nodded my head sharply. I looked back at Delilah as I was walking before the door shut. I turned toward the doctor....

"Delilah has a very bad injury. What was the injury from Mr. Walker?" The doctor asked. I told him what happened and how my ex-fiancee came to visit and how Delilah hit her head on the sinks counter top corner. After I finished the doctor looked at the flat board I didn't realize he was holding till now...

"Mr. Walker. Delilah has Amnesia..."
