Skipped Love

Chapter four

2 weeks later
I'm having a love fest with Blake I say to Carmen she goes
"Awwwwwww, you guys are so cute together"
But I half to brake up with him because my mom told me too and I need to focus on my studies. She made a list that I half to follow:
School
Job
College
House
And done that's my list, then I  realized that I skipped love I run to school looking for Carmen, and then I see her flirting with Blake she turns around and  looks at me and says
"No Shay it's not what u think it is"
And I just run away, I go to first period and I never look at Blake because I was so mad at him I never thought he would do something like this to me with my best friend so I pay attention.
"Um Ms.Clements, why are they called plate tectonics?"
"Well because....."
Then the fire alarm turns on and we rush outside we get in a line and she counts us we were missing a person CARMEN
I say to her I'll be right back I half to go find Carmen she told me not to but I went in anyways I yell for her she yells back she's in the foods lab where the fire naturally happened,she was in the corner I go in and pull her out.
"Are u okay?"
"You saved my life Shay!"
"Isn't that what best friends are for!"
We get out of the school and all the students clap for us we start to cough when we get out we have ash all over are faces we go to the school nurse to get checked out we were fine. All the students were aloud to go home only the foods lab got got torn down the firemen got to the school quick enough to stop it. So we got to go home for a few days. The next morning carmen shows up at the door , she rings the door bell so many time that the it stopped working ,
"I'm coming,"
" sorry it's just that I have BIG NEWS"
"What,what is it,"
" well you know how I like love Jamie in 12th grade"
"A,ya"
"He broke up with his girl friend eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" we scream
Blake comes running down the stairs zipping his pants up and buttoning his shirt up and says
"Girls, are u alright"
Carmen looks up  and says
" nnniicccceee "
"What we weren't doing anything"
"Sure, I thought your mom said that your skipping love"
" well my moms not in town shes in the US, so it's not a problem that Blake is coming over to um "study" with me"
"Oookkk well I better get going see ya guys"
