The bell echoes through the empty has right as I rush into my last class, Super Sciences. Thankfully, the teacher wasn't in the room yet, and I could make my way over to Sky without having to explain why I was late. Our teacher for this class is fun, but you do not want to be on his bad side. She gives me a pointed look and smirks as I drop into the desk next to her. "Did you give him the soap?"

"Yes," I say "Well, sort of. I stuffed it in his bag when he wasn't looking."

"Awesome!" she exclaims before sending me a pointed look. "What's up with you being late? I thought you love this class."

"I do, there was just a lab explosion last class"

Her eyebrows furrowed together. "Lab explosions usually happen in Chemistry. I thought you were taking AP Biology."

"Oh, I am taking AP Bio," I state offhandedly while shuffling through my backpack, looking for my notebook.

Out of the corner of my vision, I catch Sky's mouth dropping a little. "Then how the hell was there an explosion?"

"My lab partner and I-" My words trail off as my eyes lock onto the front. Sky elbows my side, wanting me to continue, but stops as she realizes that all side conversations have stopped and she follows my gaze to find our teacher.

Mr. Marks hobbles in, his weight shifting to his cane. He runs his hand through his dark brown hair streaked with hints of grey. "Okay class," Mr. Marks says as he stands by the white board, his weight resting on his good leg. "Turn to page 362 in your books and take out your notes." The sound of pages turning fill the class. "Yesterday we discussed what power each superhuman possesses. Can anyone tell me what that is?"

"Heightened senses," a voice pipes up in the front.

"Correct," Mr. Marks continues. "Each superhuman's five senses are heightened. How heightened those senses are depend on the superhuman. Now, onto today's lesson." Mr. Marks scrawl on the whiteboard and all the students follow in suite with their notebooks. IMITATION. I sit up a little straighter, my pen hovering over the paper. "This is one of my favorite powers," he continues. "This power is extremely rare. The only recorded superhuman known to have this power has not been heard from for three years. I believe many of you know him as Copycat." The mummers flowing through the class proves his point. Mr. Marks clears his throat and the class goes silent. "Anyway, another reason it is my favorite is because of how mysterious this power is. We know the basics of it, but we don't truly understand how it works exactly. Copycat even admitted he didn't fully understand how it worked.

"Okay so, how many of you have used the copy and paste settings on your phone or computers?" All hand go up, quizzical looks on everyone's face. Who hasn't used copy and paste? That's near ancient technology. "Good. Well, this power is assumed to almost works like that. For example, let's say you have a super with imitation and a super with flying powers." Mr. Marks drew two stick figures, one looks like it's standing, while the other flying. On the figure that is flying, he drew a little red cape. "Of what we know, if the super with some sort of interaction with the flying super, then the super would 'copy' the flying power and be able to fly." He drew a little red cape on the stick figure who has imitation. "Now, this power is just a play of chances. Maybe after gaining the power, the super can fly faster than the original super. Maybe they fly slower. Maybe they just don't get the power at all. This power is very unpredictable. The super never knows if they are going to be getting a power, and they never know when. They could possibly get the power instantly after the interaction or three days later. It seems if the super with imitation doesn't 'copy' a power three days after an interaction, they aren't getting it.
