Diamond's POV
"Are you sure you want to do this Diamond?" My mom asked packing my last box of items. I was moving to Louisiana. I'm old enough to leave, and get a job. I had already brought me a condo so I was ready for this moving thing.
"Yes mama. I'mma miss you though." I replied to her hugging her. She was now crying on my shoulder. I shredded a few tears. I'm going to really miss her, although her and my dad are a pain in my ass, I'mma really miss them. Speaking of my dad he didn't even come to see me. He's such an ass. He says that I'm to young to go all the way to Louisiana. But I disagree with him. I'm 22 years old. I need to explore more of the world.
"Be safe Babygirl." My mom said using my middle name. Some people call me Babygirl instead of Diamond. I kissed her cheek and pulled away.
"Tell Dad that I said bye and I'll call him and you when I land there." I said to her. She nodded and helped me with the boxes. We brought them to my truck that would take it directly to my new condo. I hugged her one last time and got into the car. I drove off to the airport crying a few times. It wasn't that far it was only about an hour away. I listened to music in the mean time.

Once I got to the airport I parked in the rental car garage, and grabbed my luggages. I brought at least 4 luggages and they were all huge. I took a luggage carrier and put the luggages on there. I walked all the way into the airport and went to the front desk.
"Hi what can I do for you?" The women behind the desk said.
"Um... I have a plane ticket to Louisiana." I replied handing her the ticket.
"Can I see your passport?" She asked. I nodded and handed it to her. She checked over the passport and the ticket and handed them back to me.
"You can go to gate 25. Its almost time, so go right now." She said to me smiling. I nodded and thanked her. I then went to gate 25 and waited for to abort the plane.
A few minutes later it was time to get on the plane. After giving them the ticket and everything I got into the plane and sat down. I put my ear plugs on and listened to music. I soon dozed off to sleep.
