I put my phone down and looked at Diamond who had tears in her eyes. Her damn hormones.
"You good?" I asked her. She looked my way and nodded her head.
"Yea I'm cool, just miss Odell." She replied. I felt bad.
"Aww its OK. Come on lets buy you a cute dress and then go out at like 6:00 pm today." I said to her wiping her tears.
"OK." She smiled. I smiled too and walked into Macy's.
Diamond'sPOV
"Are we almost done?" I asked Laysha.
"Yea, that's the dress. So let's go pay." She said grabbing this long pinkish color dress. It was cute but didn't seem like a party dress. I just shrugged it off and followed her.
Once we finished shopping it was 5:20 pm. We rushed to my place to get ready. I went up stairs and took a quick shower then I changed into my new dress. I put on some slippers and Laysha and I headed to my car.

"Laysha can you drive?" I asked her. She nodded and we both got into the care. We drove all the way to this nice hall. We got out the car and walked to the door. Laysha opened the door and it was dark. No lights no nothing.
"Its dark. Where the hell are the lights?" I said out loud walking inside. Before I knew it the light went on and people were jumping out of no where yelling, "welcome to your baby shower." I saw people that I knew, and some I didn't. There were Odell's family, Odell' friends. Some friends that went to Laysha's and I's school. And many others.
Odell came up to me and gave me a huge hug. I didn't even know I was crying. He pulled away and kissed my lips.
"Was this why you wasn't answering my calls?" I asked joking a little.
"Yea baby I was doing this for ya." He replied laughing. I wiped my tears and shook my head.
"I didn't know I wanted a baby shower." I said laughing. He held my hand and brought me to this pink chair. It was surrounded my presents.
"Aww y'all didn't have to bring presents." I said to everyone.
"We wanted to." Mama said making everyone agree.
"Thanks guys, I'll open them at the end of this. For now let's party." I said going to the food section. Everyone laughed and went to go do there thing. I was with Laysha talked when a someone came up to me. I turned around and my smiled faded away. It was my ex. My ex from long ago in highschool he had cheated on me and thought it was ok to come back and ask for sex. No I don't think so.
"Hey..." He said awkwardly.
"Hi." I replied then turned around and continued with my conversation. I don't even know who invited him.
"Babygirl don-." He started but was interrupted by me.
"Don't call me that. Now can you get away from me. I'm trying to enjoy my baby shower. I don't even know who invited you." I said a little annoyed.
"I was just going to say congratulations. But whatever I don't care." He replied walking off.
"Same here." I said and went back to my conversation. Ugh I hate ex's man. Odell had came behind me and kissed my neck.
"Hey baby." I said turning around. He kissed me.
"Baby ya really hurt me yesterday." He said to me. I put my drink down and brought him outside. I kissed him for a long time then pulled away.
"Odell, baby I'm sorry for what I did yesterday. My attitude was way out of hand and I shouldn't have assumed you was cheating. I'm really sorry baby." I said holding his face. He smiled and nodded his head.
"I forgive ya baby." He replied kissing me. I smiled and went back inside. The whole night we just talked and had fun. I opened some of the presents and thanked everyone again for the presents. Soon I felt tired and decided to go home. Once I did I knocked out with Odell wrapping his arms around me.
