"Wake up...Hey! Wake up! We're gonna be late." he shouted at my ear.

I opened my eyes and saw the face of my brother smiling. This stupid brother of mine...sighs.

"Hey! Stop shouting!" I said getting irritated.

I looked at the clock. It's 7:30 am. Oh no... We're almost late. I gotta hurry.

"Hurry up!" he said.

"I am! But can you go out first." I said.

He nodded knowing what I'm gonna do. I changed my clothes, fixed my hair and brush my teeth. I got my backpack and checked if I miss something.

"Are you done yet?" he said.

"Yeah. In a minute." I said. And everything was ready. I feel kinda nervous and excited too. My first day in high school. This is like a dream.

"This is the worst day of my life." I said, feeling exhausted. Sighing.

~(Flashback)~

"Class, we have a new student today." the teacher said.

They all started chatting.

"Her name is Jessica Anderson. Stand up and show yourself to everyone, my dear." he said.

I stood up, smiled and sat down.

"Isn't she the one who's always sick?" someone whispered.

"Yeah. I saw her one time in the hospital." another one said.

Everyone is talking about me. I'm scared. I'm nervous. I can't breathe. Why is this happening? I can't do this.

" We better stay away from her. She might infect us." the girl laughed.

Breathe Jess... Relax... You can do this. Just calm down. This is your first day in school. A place where you can be an ordinary person just like everyone else.

"What a freak." someone said.

Everyone started laughing. "All right, class. Calm down. We better start our class." the teacher said. The noises started to slowly disappear and the class started.

This is not what I expected. Everything is different from what I imagined. People are too rude. Even the teacher didn't bother stopping them from saying those words. It was like they didn't hear it and pretend that nothing happened.

"Hey, Jessica!" a familiar voice said.

I turned around to see who it was. Oh, it's Andrew. Why is he here?

"I heard you were going to school. I guess it's true after all. So how was it? It's been a long time since you went to school right?" he said with excitement.

"Yeah, it's great!" I lied.

"Are you sure? Your face doesn't show it." he said.
