Dear diary,
It's been quite a while and um, I'm not sure how to say this. I can't say it any other way. I love someone, and I have hope that my feelings will be requited.

Kageyama sat behind [Last Name] [Name], spacing out as he only half listened to the teacher's  continuous droning. He looked out the window, letting his imagination run wild.

Dear diary,
I wonder if I've been too obvious. I'm starting to think even Hinata knows, and that's not good. I can't let my feelings be known if I haven't confessed yet.

The blue eyed setter was practicing his jump serves, until he saw a [color] haired girl walk into the gym.

"Hey Kageyama!" [Name] smiled. She sat down on the bench, watching the other.

"H-Hi.." He awkwardly stood there, bouncing the volleyball. "A-Are you going to sit there all day? It's getting late."

"I'll wait for you."

[Name] clapped for him when he served and set. She smiled when he grinned. He felt invincible when she was happy.

Dear diary,
I usually write to you after school, but it's morning now. I've decided. I'm going to tell her. I want her to know that I love her. Wish me luck.
Sincerely,
Kageyama Tobio

"So, why did you want to meet here?" [Name] questioned the fidgeting male. They were behind the gym, where no one could hear them.

"I-I.. I l-love you.." He blurted out, looking down at the ground, ashamed when he saw her smile sadly.

"I can't say that I return your feelings, Kageyama. But, we'll still be good friends and you hold a special place in my heart," [Name] said, walking over to hug Kageyama.

He weakly hugged back, feeling dry and empty inside, as if someone sucked the life out of him.

"..Who is it?" Kageyama whispered.

"W-What do you mean?" [Name] stuttered, confused.

"Who do you love?" Kageyama's voice trembled, and she could hear it crack. He shut his eyes as tight as he could, trying to hide his tears. He embraced her warmth, but he knew he couldn't have it.

"You know who he is, Tobio."

Dear diary,
I've never felt so empty before. You didn't wish me luck, did you? Or maybe I didn't stand a chance to begin with. It's always Oikawa. I feel so empty and cold. Maybe if I never met [Name], I wouldn't feel so sad. I'm sorry if you can't see what I'm writing very well. My hands are shaky and this thin piece of paper is getting wet. How do I get rid of this throbbing feeling inside of me?
Sincerely,
Kageyama Tobio
