(A/N: Sorry for taking a long time! I had Scout Camp for a week and then an acapella camp at BYU and my brother just graduated basic training so I've been busy....sorry!)
Meerdo's POV
I bolt out into a forest. I twist my ring and it turns into its sword form. I reach out in my mind for the weapons/traps around me.
There's a bomb in front of me so I step to the side of it and duck just in time to not get hit by an arrow shot from the area next to me. I grimace and hit a trap to my left but jump over it so it hits the person next to me, it trips them and gives me a headstart.
"SORRY NOT SORRY!" I yell with a grin on my face as I frontflip over a chasm and keep running, the terrain turns into a desert.
I slice the head off a snake and throw the head to my left, hitting the person 2 spots away. They collapse to the floor but they ran in a big group.
I let out a small laugh when I start running up the hill and hit a trap that starts an avalanche after I make it to the top. The sand buries most of the group 2 spots away but they are soon replaced and the person next to me avoids it and is next to me pretty quickly.
This startles me out of my trance and I start running again, I stop only to hit the person next to me with the hilt of my sword, they crumple but 3 other people soon take his place. I bolt away from them and start triggering more traps for other people while avoiding my own, I get so into it I hardly think about what I'm doing.
I don't notice that I jump over one arrow and under another, or that I pushed someone into a cactus. I don't recall how I set a skeleton of war on a group nearby. I just remember running and having fun, but eventually I come down.
The terrain changes again to a mountain range. I groan slightly, mountains are not my thing, while I'm distracted the person next to me gets a lucky hit and buries me waist-deep in snow, my eyes widen before I narrow them and I let out my fury.
I glow bright red and the person next to me falls to the ground in pain. The snow around me melted, guess that happens when revenge is set loose. I fall to the ground weak, I tag out to Vasilia.
Vasilia's POV
I see Meerdo collapse and jump out of the viewing chamber, I tag him out and start running up the mountain. I accidentally hit a lever rock which releases a basilisk in front of me. I pull out my pipes and softly play it a song and set it to attack the people next to me.
"Sorry" I whisper softly, the delay cost me time, I'm behind everyone else. But I am part goat so I make it to the top in time with everyone else, except for one group who fell behind to battle the basilisk I set on them.
Instantly, the other side of the mountain becomes a waterfall, carrying us all down in a big ugly mass. The water goes on for quite a while before eventually dumping us on an island-type place.
I start to run, asking the dryads and nereids to help me out and slow the other people down. The bugs start to attack but I hold them off but fall into a pit I didn't see coming.
I try and climb up the walls but fail. Crap. How do I get out? I start to sing softly making a woven grass path up. The pit cost me time but I can make it, I run and somehow dodge a landmine and it blows up behind me.
I scream and flinch, hitting another switch which happens to cause an earthquake. I bolt but still fall to the ground, the terrain changes suddenly to tunnels.
I groan but stay alert, I don't want to get hit like Meerdo was. I jump over a sword and punch the person in the face. They crumple. "Oops" I say softly but I start to run. My senses are overwhelmed by the stench of underground.
