A deep chuckle resonated throughout the dark alleyway. Hints of yellow and orange peeked into the gap, and dimly illuminated the unfolding scene, but these streetlights didn't burn brightly enough to give the man backed against the wall any hope. It was still enough to see the figures emerge from the shadows.
Tsk tsk tsk. The man stepped forward, and his featured seemed so, gentle. Long, black hair, it feel just around his eyes. His ears were heavily pierced; he was so young. The man who's back was currently being held by the cold of the bricks felt himself relax. Certainly this boy wasn't a threat.
The pierced man noticed the shift in attitude, and for the second time, laughed to himself. He always loved when they underestimated him. It was his favourite part.
"You don't seem scared." He stated dryly, almost amused.
"You just seem to harmless..." At hearing this comment, the man recently uncovered from the shadows' blood boiled. It felt like red-hot energy surging through his veins, but he merely smiled, countenance unchanged. "Maybe you'll let me off with a warning even?"
"But you see, Yao was it? Stealing money from my acquaintances is a punishable offence within itself." He stepped closer, inching towards the man, and inching the mans fear level higher because something dark had fallen over his eyes. "And not only that, but you lost the money," Closer. "And spent it all to gamble." He took a final step, now so close the night didn't seem so cold because there was a nervous body heat going throughout the air. Without another word, he punched the scared man in the stomach, below the left rib, watching as his face contorted. "Don't you think it's only fair that you are taught not to steal? You brought this upon yourself."
Suddenly, from the eternal shadows, a voice was heard, whining slightly.
"JB! Why do you get to have all of the fun?" Three figures stepped from the darkness , and JB stepped back to greet them.
"I shouldn't, you're right Jr.,"
He looked toward the one in the front. His hair, like the sky was stark black, and he dressed in a turtle neck, and a leather jacket and pants. The two behind him were equally as impressive. The one in the middle kept his hood up, but it didn't block out his startlingly platinum blonde hair. He wore all name brands down to his shoes, which seemed to have shiny , but sharp metal tucked into them. It even appeared a crease was worn into the Yeezy's due to the permanency of his knives there, and if you looked closely, in many other places as well.
The third JB decided to introduce.
"Wouldn't you like to meet who you stole the money from?" JB turned his attention to the man quakeing, back against the wall, at a sickeningly slow pace he reared his head over his shoulder to meet his eyes. He remained unmoved. The lead man slid across the alley, and in one fatal sweep kneed the man in the same spot as before. He folded into the pain; his body seemed to collapse inward.
"I asked you a question. Would you like to meet who you stole your money from?" A playful smile crept onto his face, and he leaned into Yao's ear, lingering for a moment before speaking. "The correct answer there is yes."
His eyes flickered from JB, who had stepped back and lazily folded his arms over his body, to the thin man who just barely peeked out of the shadows. He had tasteful hints of expensive gold jewellery; his watch probably cost a years worth of gambling debts. His face was soft and relaxed, his lips full.
"This." JB motioned back to him, "Is BamBam. A close friend of mine. You wired an account that took 10% of all the money that he earned. You took a total of 864,326 dollars, and you don't even have a scrap of it. All of it: wasted."
Yao's head whipped violently between the men looking for a way out, and as soon as he thought he saw one, he ran.
He bolted through to the opposite side of the alley in attempt to escape to the opposite streets. And if he had looked back, he would've been surprised by the fact that no one followed him. Of course, he was too scared to do so because regardless of whether or not they were following him, he had to run. But , what he would've seen would've been JB picking absentmindedly at his nails, while his "colleges" laughed amongst themselves. Not behaviour ow would expect from people who just moments ago tried to hurt him.
His heart raced in his ears, so much so that he didn't hear the padding of feet in the recently fallen rain just ahead of him. Because he didn't hear, the ran into a thick body frame hanging under a mop of shaggy blonde hair. He wasn't particularly tall, but he was strong. He was accompanied by a tall man with cherry-bright red hair.
He felt a pressure on his arms as he was grabbed and dragged back in the opposite direction it the alley, one hand clamped on his mouth to cover his muffled screams.
"They always try to run, I swear," the redhead spoke in a high voice. "Why don't they just handle their punishment like a man. We're not taking him in, this is mercy. I can tell this one wouldn't fend well in jail."
"I agree, they should just-"
He was cut off by JB calling from the spot in which he hadn't moved even a muscle. "Jackson, you got him?"
"Yeah boss."
When Jackson reached where they were, he threw the man against the Wall.
"Who wants this one?" JB asked looking to his friends, who all looked expectant. "Whatever I'll decide."
He looked around for a moment. "Jackson, Yugeyeom, and Jr. , show show him why not to steal from the Wangshi de"
