Chapter 15

Few Days Later

*Sapphire's pov*
It's been a few days since Rose's funeral and I know that she wouldn't want me to be depressed but I am, it's hard that there's nobody else I can talk to and I've told Dad enough about my depression and I know that he's going on tour soon. I read through who's gonna be there and it's Escape The Fate, Falling In Reverse, Automatic Love letter, Pierce The Veil, and Sleeping With Sirens. Oh shit, dad's gonna be pissed that's Juliet's band is in this tour. Hell I'm pissed off. I went up to dad's room and knocked on his door.

"Come in" I heard Dad say. I walked into dad's room but kept the door open.
"Dad tour starts in a few days and have you seen who's on it?" I told/asked him. I'm so nervous.
"No I haven't sweetie who's on it?" Dad asked.

"Well it's Escape The Fate, Falling In Reverse, Automatic Love Letter, Pierce The Veil, and Sleeping With Sirens." I saw Dad flinch and I stepped back a bit.
"Why does Juliet have to be on this tour?" Dad said calmly.

"I don't know Dad" I said. I wonder if we can get Juliet off the tour? I think that I might be able to convince John. Dad stands up and hugs me and I pull back from him.
"What's wrong sweetie?" he asks.
"Dad, what's a nice way to put this, you stink. Please go take a shower." I said nicely.

Dad nodded and grabbed a change of clothes and jumped in the shower. I looked around the room and noticed how dirty it was so I started cleaning after I heard the shower start. There was so much trash that it took 5 black trash bags. Damn Dad, I thought.

I hope I can recover from hurting from Rose's death. She never told me she had heart problems. Then again I barely knew her. I just wished she didn't have to go, I had the urge to start cutting again but I've done really good for the past year so I turned to the thing that helps which is song writing.

I went back to my room and got out my lyric book. I write songs about my feelings so now I'm writing a new song.

I heard the shower stop and I got up to show dad the song. When I got to his room I knocked on the door again.
"Come in Sapphire" He said. I walked in and Dad immediately stood up and walked over to me. "Sweetie why are you crying?" He asked. I took my hand and touched my face and realized that I am crying. I wiped my eyes before replying.

"I wrote a song for Rose and I didn't know I was crying" Dad held his hand for my book and he read it. Dad started tearing up so I handed him a tissue.

"Sapphire this is amazing, would you like to sing it on tour?" Dad asked. I nodded and hugged him.

Sorry I've haven't updated in a while. I tried to make this chapter long since I haven't update much but the song is called Running In The Rain by Hinder. I've been having issues lately so it might take a while to update but other then that please enjoy the books.
