Rhea stared at Kevyn in disbelief.

"YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY MENTAL," she screamed, "COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY MENTAL." She clasped her hands around her head in disbelief, her mouth wide open and eyes wide.

"TAKE ME HOME RIGHT NOW."

"I was quite afraid this was going to happen," Kevyn mumbled. His posture was still relaxed, waiting for Rhea to be done screaming and stumbling.

All kinds of weird noises and half sentences came rumbling from Rhea's mouth.

Kevyn waited a couple of minutes before he grew impatient.

"Can you just like, take a chill?" Kevyn spoke.

Rhea swung her head towards Kevyn, she was breathing heavily and her eyes were crazy wide.

"TAKE A CHILL?!" Rhea boomed. "TAKE A FUCKING CHILL?!" The look on her face was absolutely mental while she belted the words. She tried opening the car door, she knew she had to get out of here.

"Don't do that..." Kevyn mumbled. "Just, stop that please, you're ruining my car."

But Rhea didn't stop. Even though it was obvious the door was locked, she yanked on it for her life.

"Ok.. We'll do it my way then." Kevyn sighed while extracting the spray that made Rhea pass out earlier. He sprayed it a few times, directing it at Rhea's face.

And that's the last thing Rhea remembered when she woke about an hour later.

"You seriously have to stop doing that," she mumbled while rubbing her eyes.

"You done making a scene now?" Kevyn inquired.

"Hm."

Rhea was kind of embarrassed of the fit she had thrown earlier. She processed the information he had given her one more time, letting it all sink in.

This just couldn't be true, yet she believed him. It was like remembering a vague dream.

"Well?" Kevyn asked.

"Just give me a minute," she replied. She needed to process all of this first. Her breathing was heavy, her eyes wide open in shock. After a few minutes of silence the first real question popped up in her head.

"What about my family? My real family?" Rhea asked. Luke appearantly wasn't her real brother, but she had to have more family, right? She never learned what happened to her parents.

Kevyn looked like he didn't want to answer the question. He turned his head to look outside, not meeting her gaze. "Dead," he whispered. "Murdered by Nadia while she was hunting you down. You were the only one they were able to rescue."

Rhea felt her heart ache.

"Aunt May is your real aunt though. She was the only one who was safe from Nadia's merciless killer spree, since Nadia didn't know about her existence. But she just found out recently, and had your Guardian killed. She was coming for you." He added. For the first time he let his arrogant appearance go. It was replaced by a sad look.

Rhea felt a chill go down her spine. A vampire was coming after her, a dangerous one. Then she remembered something. Kevyn had saved her, but aunt May was still at the place.

"We have to go back, aunt May is still at home!" Rhea said full of worry. She couldn't leave aunt May behind.

"We can't, it's too dangerous. Nadia is probably already there." Kevyn said.

"Why did you leave her in the first place?! You knew Nadia was coming!" Rhea hissed. This woman had taken care of Rhea for as long as she could remember, she was the only mother figure Rhea had in her life.
