Chapter 1

Princess Layla's POV:

I'm walking down the hall in the dungeons when I see one of the soldiers slam the girl to the wall "what's the meaning of this" I ask he looked at me. "nothing for you to worry about miss this savage needs to learn to respect her superiors" he snarled in her ear "I'm the Savage your the ones that came here and killed innocent creatures" she snarled back almost wolf like. "leave her be now or I will go to my uncle" I threaten the girl only laughs "what's he going to do make my punishment worse" she says angrily. The soldier shoved her down and left not before closing the cell door she glared daggers at him "I'm sorry about that" I apologized she just glared and turned away "hey I just helped you, you could at least say thank you" I yell to her she just laughed "I didn't ask for your help, now leave me" she says looking out the window with a sad look she looks like she has seen a lot of things she also looks broken. I decide to leave her and go to the professor as I'm walking in I see my brother already there "professor do you know anything about the prisoner" I ask as I sit down beside Caspian the professor nodes "she was and still is a noble soldier for Narnia she also has a love so strong for one of the Queens of old Queen Susan. She fought for Narnia but after it fell they brought her here and tried so many things to get her to change her loyalty she believes that the Kings and Queens of old will return" he said. I look to see Caspian looking down "I think we should help her escape" Caspian said we both look at him. "Are you sure" Professor asked he nodded "she doesn't deserve to be punished for doing what she knew was right" Caspian said. "I saw one of the soldiers trying to punish her" I tell them they both look at me "then its settled well get her out tonight just don't let them know your behind it" professor said we nodded. Later that night we gathered her things that they took from her and went down to the dungeons to see her pacing back and forth Caspian unlocked the cell she looked at us. "do you want to get out of here or not" Caspian asked she nodded and followed us out we took her to where the horses are "here I believe this is yours" I say and hand her the sword and medallion she puts the medallion around her neck and straps on the sword "thank you I will never forget your kindness" she says as she gets on a horse and rides off towards the woods.

Normal POV:

Its been a few months and I found some surviving Narnians who where more then happy to see me they gave me some cloths I'm currently at the ruins of cair paravel. "I let you down my Kings and Queens" I whisper looking at the ruins a few hours ago I heard a horn I about went to it but remembered that the Telmarines have it. I sighed as I sat down and put my face in my hands then I heard laughter I turn my head to see four figures on the beach splashing each other I think one of them saw me because he squinted I hid. They walked up to the ruins "I wonder who lived here" a male voice said "I think we did" a formilear voice said my breath got caught in my throat I stayed where I was and listened "Hey that's mine" another male voice said. "from my chess set" he said again "which one" the other male said. "I didn't exactly have a solid gold chess set in finchley, did I?" he asked. 'It is them' I think. "Catapults?" one said "what?" they asked "This didn't just happen Cair Paravel was attacked" the youngest boy said then they found the tomb where we put all their belongings "I was so tall" the youngest boy said "well you were older then" the oldest boy said. "what is it?" the little girl asked "my horn I must've left it on my saddle when we went back"the eldest girl said now I'm certain its them. "Its been a hundred years everyone we knew Mr. Tumnus the Beavers their all gone" the youngest said I heard a gasp of pain and sadness. That is when I chose to make my appearance "no exactly everyone" I say and come into the room Peter pointed his sword at me I'm sure I don't look the same I have grown a little and I'm still pretty hurt from being in the dungeons "do I really look that different" I asked raising an eyebrow and chuckle "I know I look banged up but come on" I say leaning against the wall. Lucy looked at me closely and gasped "oh my god" she said smiling I returned it "Christy your alive" she cried out and ran and hugged me "barely any way" I say as I hug her back I flinch a little Peter put his sword away. "what happened here" he asked I sighed "after you left I returned from my mission and got word of some other humans in Narnia" I tell them "well that's good isn't it" Lucy asked. I looked at her and shook my head no "Telmarines far from good their forces where to much I fought there king Miraz but he wounded me severely and I had to surrender he didn't leave me to die like I would have liked instead he took me to their castle and tried to get me to pledge my loyalty to him.." I smirked. "Instead he got a spit in the face which did get me punished" I say the last part rubbing my back. I fell to my knees "and by what I hear they killed as many Narnians that they could find I just got out of there recently" I say sadly looking down. "I failed" I cry out and look at them. "why would Aslan let this happen" Lucy asked she heard me scoff "Aslan we thought he abandoned us after you left no one has heard or seen him in many years" I say looking up. "we didn't mean to leave you know" Susan said "it doesn't matter now does it and about your horn someone has it" I tell her I go to stand but my back hurts "ahh" I say and go back down Edmund came and helped me up "thank you" I say he nodded. "What happened to your back" he asked "my punishment" I tell him his eyes went wide "they whipped you" he asked I nodded. We went back up top and saw Telmarines in a boat about to drown someone Susan held up her bow an arrow "drop him" she shouted I rolled my eyes they did she killed them and Peter and Edmund dived into the water when the came back up I recognized him "drop him drop him couldn't you say anything els" he said "he has a point you know" I say. He turned to look at me "well Christy I heard you broke out I'm happy to see ya" he said I smirked "you to Trumpkin I see you got yourself captured" I say amused he glared "oh shut it" he said I laugh a little. I turn to see Lucy talking to a bear it went to attack her I phased and attacked the bear I bit its throat and killed it. I breathed hard looking at the bear and whimpered "why didn't he stop" Lucy asked sadly "I suppose his hungry" Trumpkin said walking towards it "it looked wild I don't think he could talk at all" Edmund said. Susan looked my way I just looked away and phased back "get treated like a dumb animal long enough that's what you become, you'll fined Narnia a much more savage place then it once was" Trumpkin said.

Susan's POV:

When he said that he cast a sad look Christy's way who was standing near the water "she's been through hell watched as friends where killed and treated like a savage she might be acting cold right now just give her some time she doesn't like killing animals" Trumpkin said. I walked over to her "I wasn't strong enough" she said I look to see tears going down her face "hey look at me" I say she turned her head to look at me "this is not your fault you fought hard" I tell her she looked away "not hard enough" she said I smacked her upside the head she turned and looked at me wide eyed "stop talking like that" I tell her she finally smiled that smile I've missed so much and hugged me "I missed you" I tell her in the hug "the thought of seeing you again is what kept me alive" she says. We pull out of the hug and she kisses my forehead the others walk up "so were going to find these to Caspian and Layla" Edmund asked them "what" Christy asked. Trumpkin nodded "he is the one who blew the horn Christy I'm sure you of all people heard it" Trumpkin said she nodded "I just thought they where trying to draw me out" she says keeping her arm around my waist. "are you sure we can trust them" Peter asked "yes they are ones who helped me escape" Christy said. "I trust your judgment Christy and if they helped you I guess we owe them" Peter said to us. "and even if they did try to kill us" Christy said and smirked "I wonder if they are afraid of the big bad wolf" Edmund said knowing what she was thinking. I leaned back against her " aww she isn't that bad" Trumpkin pointed out Christy chuckled "actually if anyone other then Susan tried to calm me down would be killed" she said reminding him of her temper. He shuddered "good point" he said "do you know where we are going to meet them" she asked he nodded "just follow me" Trumpkin said they started to walk off I tried to move but Christy kept me in my place I looked up at her and turned to face her and smiled I put my arms around her neck she leaned down and kissed me which I returned happily. We heard someone clear there throat we separate to see Lucy with a smile on her face I look and saw Christy smile "I see you kept the necklace" she said Lucy smiled "yup now come on before Peter has a cow" Lucy said giggling. Christy grabbed my hand and we walked over to everyone.
