CHAPTER SEVEN:
We all laugh together as we enter the small Mexican restaurant close to the shore of the beach. We talk about everything, Louis and Liam tease me and Harry about our relationship. Niall shows me his best American accent, and Harry has his arm around my waist and is whispering in my ear about how lovely I look. As the waitress comes over to take our order, Harry abruptly stands up and walks over to her smiling peeling his arm away from my waist. I have to admit, she's a very pretty blonde with blue eyes and a small waist. Harry immediately gets up to hug her. "Hi Laurie!" He exclaims. "Hey Harry, it's been too long!" They both look ecstatic to meet each other and I can't help but feel a pang of jealousy deep inside me.
Why should I be jealous? I've barely met Harry a week ago and we haven't even been on a real date. I'm really going crazy. After they talk for about ten minutes I start to get irritated. They're talking about their old school and all the great times they've had together and laughing. I suddenly gain a surge of confidence. "Aham. I would like food sometime today please." The lads, Laurie, and Erin all stare at me but Harry quickly sits down beside me. "Jealous much?" Harry whispers. I can almost see the smirk on his face. "No. Why should I be?" I spit.
Despite me being rude, Laurie takes our orders and walks away. "Damn girl." Louis says from the other side of the booth. "What? I just wanted to eat." I say blushing. "Mhmm." Louis says winking. Even though Louis can be a real diva sometimes he's probably my favorite out of the lads (besides Harry!) because he understands me and relates to me the most. "Who was that girl anyway?" I turn to Harry. "Oh Laurie? Just an old middle school friend. Nobody important." Before Harry can finish his thoughts, a group of young looking girls walk in, and when they see the boys, they go crazy.
They walk on over to us and immediately ask for autographs. They say how cute Erin and Niall are then turn to Harry and I. "Is this your new girlfriend?" One brunette asks. "No. Just a fan that wanted to eat lunch with us today." Harry says. I'm so shocked I almost spit out my water. A fan? Well yeah I was a fan but Harry kissed me. He kissed me and invited me here today and he has the nerve to say that? I'm so heartbroken. I actually thought we could have dated. The tears are burning in my eyes as the girls say goodbye and leave. I really don't want to cause a scene here but I think I might have too.
"A fan? Really Harry?" I say looking at him. He suddenly looks guilty. "You kissed me the other night and asked me to come here and I'm just a fan?" I say disgusted. "Shh." Harry says. "Not so loud someone might here you." He says in a yell-whisper kind of voice. "Fuck that Harry. Fuck you too. Now move so I can leave." I say. Harry doesn't say anything but he has a slight frown on his face as he moves to get up. It kind of hurts he doesn't even try to stop me. I get up and walk out of the restaurant. Why would he do that? I get it's too early to tell people about us but I'm just a fan? Nobody comes after me. Not Erin, Niall, or even Louis. So I just walk. Walk anywhere, as long as I'm far away from Harry where he can't see me cry.
