*Ginny's POV*
I had just found a best friend she's called Elizabeth but everyone calls her Lizzie, anyways she's the daughter of you-know-who. Though she's nothing like him. When me and Liz got off the Hogwarts express a giant-man was shouting "firs' years, over 'ere" I'm guessing that's hagrid. So me and Liz went over where hagrid was shouting. When all the first years were gathered we all went and rowed across the lake. I went in a boat with Liz. After we rowed across the lake we went up to the castle. Professor McGonagall talked to us then we went and got sorted Alexander Bott was first and he went in to Slytherin. Then it was me and i went into Gryffindor after me there was a lot of people but finally it was Lizzie's turn. When the sorting hat touched her head it shouted "Gryffindor!" Everybody was shocked. I thought she would go into Slytherin. Lizzie came over to me. I could tell she was shocked.
*Lizzie's POV*
I was shocked I thought I would go into Slytherin. At least I was with Ginny. I walked over to where Ginny was sitting. Professor Dumbledore said a speech and then clapped his hands and loads of food appeared on the tables. After we had enough to eat the, prefects showed us up to our dorms. Me and Ginny both went to bed really early.
