Chapter 2
I went to practice the next day for my upcoming competition in 3 months. I slid aviators on my face, slipped on a white sundress to cover my bathing suit, put on my flip-flops I grabbed my board and walked through the doors. Walking around the corner I clicked the elevator button and tapped my foot impatiently, the doors opened and I stepped in, I heard someone come behind me before shuffling in the cart. I glanced to my right and saw Demetri. Plan a step one is now in action.
" Hey what's up? I asked a smile on my face, he looked at me confusingly before replying,
" Nothing much... you" he asked
" I'm bout' to go practice, I had this bizarre dream about you," I said leaning against my board,
" Oh really" he asked with an eyebrow raised, I nodded my head,
" Yup, I was in my condo and then I went on the balcony, and saw you sucking some girls blood, funny right and then you came up to my door and was all 'mind your business' it was a pretty weird dream" I said laughing. I looked up to see him looking slightly relived before he put on a smile,
" Yeah, dream" he said, I laughed as the elevator made a ding, jumping I grabbed my board and stepped out immediately we were blinded by flashing lights.
" Summer Evergreen over here, is it true your dating-
" No-" I stated cutting him off and pushing through the crowd. I sighed as I got into the parking lot putting my board in the back of my range rover I jumped hearing a voice from behind me,
" So your pretty famous huh?" Demitri said from behind me, I jumped and turned around to see him leaned up against a black masarati. I smiled, step two, get some info out of him is now in action.
" I guess," I simply said,
" Where I come from I guess you can say I'm pretty well known," he replied,
" And where's that?" I questioned,
" So what are you practicing for?" he asked changing the subject, I mentally sighed, so close.
" The world championships are coming up, I won last year and the year before that, I want to keep my streak going," I said he nodded and answered,
" Well, I can help you train" I perked up, this is an even better way to get more info out of him,
" Thanks I could use it, follow me" I said hopping in my truck an starting the engine, he followed behind me in his car, about 30 minutes later, we ended up at my favorite beach.
I hopped out the car and grabbed my board, and my surfing bag. I heard a car door slam behind me and I turned around an motioned for Demitri to come on, we stopped at the edge of the sand and took our shoes off,
" What is this place?" he asked looking around,
" I don't know the name so I call it Beach Evergreen" I said walking along the sand him following closely behind, the beach is a deserted beautiful beach, it has a big waterfall and the waves are sick,
" How did you find it?" he asked as I laid out a blanket,
" Well I was surfing out at myrtle until I was washed up by one of the waves, I was stranded on my board for a good 2 hours until I saw this beach, I'm the only who knows about it, well was" I said stopping to look at Demitri, then continued " I come here to think or when something is wrong, or when I need to practice and don't want to get bothered by fans" I finished.
He nodded his head and stood up,
" Time for training" he smiled, nodding my head I grabbed my board, but he stopped me and then put it down,
