Melchior always liked parties. His friends said he was the life of them, but even though he had a fondness for them, he wasn't an animal. He just enjoyed letting loose and having fun. He was standing near the snack table talking with some friends when he noticed a shorter boy towards the opposite end of the table. They were both staring at each other from across the room when Hanschen began to talk with him.
"Oh no, it seems he's choking," Hanschen said in his dry, flat tone. Melchior's head whipped around to see the guy he had been staring at doubled over, wheezing. "Oh my god, he is!" Melchior rushed to his aid, oblivious to the smirk on his friend's face.
He rushed to the choking man's aid, moving behind him and wrapping his arms around him and squeezing. "Wait, what're you- ACK!" By now, the other man's friends started cracking up laughing. "What's so funny? He's choking!" The smaller man struggled in his hold, "No, I'm no-AH!" Melchior stopped, suddenly confused. "Y-you aren't choking? But my friend-" Hanschen walked up to them slowly, his low chuckle cutting him off. "Well that was entertaining," he eyed the two, looking them up and down. Realizing he was still wrapping himself around the other, Melchior frantically released his hold, putting reasonable distance between them.
Both of them were blushing profusely, and Melchior gave a shy, nervous smile, "I'm Melchior." The other hesitantly held out his own, "I'm Moritz." Melchior's mouth was dry, and he struggled to talk. "Uh, hi." It seemed Moritz was just as embarrassed, "Hi." Ilse stood next to him, Melchior recognized her from his English class, and teased, "I told you your laugh sounds like you're choking," and poked his side, causing him to jump into Melchior. "Whoa, easy there," he said, bracing his body with a hand, brushing against his side making him giggle. Melchior raised an eyebrow, "What was that?"
"N-nothing. I'm just a bit ticklish is all." A smirk slipped onto his face, "Oh really?" He ran a hand down his side, and Moritz jerked away with a laugh.
"Wow, first dry humping, now tickling? This relationship is moving fast," Hanschen droned out, amused, causing both boys to turn red. "Shut up Hanschen," Melchior said, pushing him away. He smirked slyly, "You know that's impossible. But I'll let the two of you get acquainted nonetheless. Come with me, Ernst," he demanded, pulling the smaller boy along.
Melchior and Moritz did get acquainted. Very acquainted.
