It's been scientifically proven that throughout your entire lifetime, there will be 7 most important moments that you will remember the most.
For Allie Lightwood, a sarcastic 16 year old with inifinite maths awards and eyes that could make a boxer shrink into the corner, there were only 3 moments that ever mattered.
One. Being born. There's nothing more important than your own existence.
Two. When she won the Mathlete Competition at her Primary School at the age of 7, which made her teacher faint and the nerds in Miss Smith's class declare war on her. Nothing was quite ever the same after that.
Three. Joining Urban Fighters Boxing Club in Year 7. No, although Allie could take down a monster truck, she was more interested in the martial arts side of causing physical damage than boxing. All she loved to do on a Friday night was beat the hell out of the club trainers and continue her steady relationship with the gym equipment. Hey I never said that she was a normal British teenager.
That was before her collision with the infamous Ben Hartford. Never had a blonde bread stick made Allie's heart go so fast before. Although she tries to go against her feelings, everything seems to pull her back to him. And that humorous , conceited rich kid from London doesn't do anyone any favours by getting kidnapped and being exceptionally good looking.
With Allie's birth dad arriving at her doorstep, national competitions right round the corner and her coming up to face her biggest fear- love- she's going to be in a bit of pickle deciding what 7 moments she will want to treasure. But let's just say that she'd not the type of girl who's a fan of rules. So in true Allie Lightwood style, she would say:
Fuck that shit.
And that's exactly what she does.
