*The Painting*
My mind didn't register what was happening as I slowly saw more and more of what looked loke a paintig. He drew me smiling, I looked like a goddes with angelic features so mezmerizing -that's exactly what he looks like to me (too perfect for words). In the painting, every aspect around me was a blur. Like i was the only thing he had eyes for in the world. 'Ohmygosh, Sophia! What's wrong', Erona said, as a frown made her face look beautifully broken and panic intricately laced her quiet, delicate voice.That's when i noticed the tears that were streaming down my face. Happy tears. Jasmine and Erona then gasped at the same time as the caught sight of the painting.
'We were only gone for like a second and your in ruins when we return, what's that all about...' Leah's gasp was identical to Jasmine and Erona's. The painting caught her eye and thankfully cut off her psycho babble attack.
'Wow' Erona managed to choke out. Atleast she was breathing, I think Jasmine forgot how to breathe. Hopefully she'll remember before she faints. Again.
I gasped loudly. I didn't realize i had stopped breathing. I'm such a hypocrit sometimes (talking about others not breathing out of shock and i was doing just that; Not breathing because i was in shock). Emmelia's murmurs were starting to ruin the moment. I couldn't hear what she was saying but atleast she was breathing unlike the rest of us. She finally turned around, too curious about what exactly was dazzling us all and immediately stopped talking and froze just like the rest of us. And at that strange, surreal moment, Tyler decided to walk past with a perfectly crooked smile on his face. Perfect timing.
I felt the need to write in Spanish class right after the whole painting incident.
