-------End of Flashback-----

I looked down at my old Alphas' face.

It was decided. He would die. Tonight.

-------------------------------------------------------------

This time on One Last Tail

I glared at the Alpha.

I could hear growling in my mind. I could feel the shift inside me.

I wanted... No.... Needed... to kill him. Now.

I stood. I was much taller then most of them. Including the Alpha.

He stared at me, backing up slowly.

"I will show you not worth it." I growled.

Then. All I saw was red. I was blinded by my own rage.

-------------------------------------------------

I reawoke.

I could smell the Dampness of the cave, the metalic smell of blood.

I could hear the heartbeat of the child and women sleeping by my stomach.

*Snap*

My head snapped up. I growled loudly which sadly woke the Humans up.

I heard a quiet sob and a whisper. "It's okay mommy. Wolfie will protect us!"

Do they really have faith in my protection? Am I really that Important to this child?

Then I thought. Just for a moment. 'What if...'

I heard the clink of a trap being set. Howls of wolves being shot and or killed.

Then, Just then. The mother whispered to me.

"You cannot withstand the storm Mr.Wolf"

Then I responded with words she could not believe.

"I am the storm. Just be lucky you are on the other side."

I charged. Red once again blurring my vision .

Once the red cleared from my eyes all I could see and smell was blood, dead bodies and the mother and child at the edge of the cave.

I was covered in blood. Not from head to toe, but just enough to smell like it.

"I guess I put my faith in the right place..." The mother said aloud. Staring me down from where she was standing.

The child ran up to me, hugging me tightly.

"I love you Mr.Wolf!"
