Words

You wanna know what I never understood?
How people will beat you down to the ground with words.
How people will constant hit you and try to knock you down with rude names and insults.
They claim that they're "just jokes" but we all take things to heart, even if we don't realize it.
Then when you finally fall down and crash and burn...
They call you "weak" and "whimp"
They tell you to get up and grow up

But words do hurt...
And we act like they don't in fear that we will be labeled as a lesser.

Words can build bridges but can also destroy them.
Words can become spectacular seas but can also become the storms we fear at night.

Maybe that the scariest part about words...

they're unpredictable and wild.
