Chapter 1

Jasmine P.o.v

"Lets go twinkle toes we don't have all day for this nonsense." The hideous guard said to me, chewing on a tooth pick.

"First if all don't call me that, Second of all that is not my name. My name is Jasmine so, get it right." I snapped at the guard highly annoyed.

"Okay what ever you say princess." He said as he dramatically rolled his eyes.

I huffed and stomped my way over to him.

"That is not my name. My name is Jasmine and I expect you to call me Jasmine and Jasmine only, not one of your stupid pet names." I snapped angrily at him, fed up with him and his attitude.

"You know what, lets just go and get your stuff so you can finally leave." He sighs.

"Atleast when can agree on something." I mumbled under my breath.

"What was that?"He asked as he raised and eyebrow.

"Nothing, now lets just go." I said and waited for him to start walking.

The guard looked at me then started walking.

As we walked down the corridor I realised everyone was staring at us.

I quietly whispered to the guard "Why are they staring at us?"

The guard looked at me and said "You have been titled the most dangerous criminal around here, so they are most likely staring at you because they are scared."

"Why are they scared of me though?"

The guard stared at me, looking highly annoyed.

"Just shut up and continue walking."

With that I shut my mouth and bit my tongue to stop me from saying something rude.

The guard walked up to a baricated door that has a buttom shaoed as a finger print.

The guard quickly put his finger on the button.

Access granted the machine said.

Once he opened the door i was granted with a huge beam of light shining in my eyes.

I put my arm over my eyes.

"The sun has gotten brighter after these last ten years." I said to the guard.

The guard didnt respond but, grabbed my arm and started pulling me to the front gate which was surrounded by guards.

"You have to wait for the other prisoners to come out, somce it is there last day too." One guard said with really long hair.

"Why do I have to wait for them if I don't even know anyone here?"  I asked the guard.

"We don't want to keep opening and closing the gates so we thought that we could release all of the prisoners at the same time." A guard with blonde hair said.

I sighed.

"The other prisoners should be he-" Je was cut off by the sound of chains rattling and loud cursing.

"Get this stupid chain off of me right now!" A husky voice said.

I turned my head,trying to see who the voice belonged to.

The guard shoved my face foward and whispered in my ear.

"Keep your eyes foward no one would want to see such an ugly sight."

I shrugged and continued on trying to look for the voice.

I heard the sounds of chains rattling next to me.

"When I become king I'm going to have you executed." I heard a voice grumble.

I quickly turned my head and saw the most handsome man I have ever seen.

He seemed to have felt my gaze because he turned his face swiftly and the soon he looked at my face his eyes turned a bright red.

He jumped out of the hold of the guard and tied the chains he had around his hand around my throat.

I struggled to catch my breath.

He let go and started to bang his fist on my face until I couldn't see anymore. I felt the blood rush out of my nose.

I lifted up my leg and kneed him in his manhood.

Then his eyes turned a deep shade of purple.

He looked at me and said one word that would change my whole life.

"Mine!"

I looked at him with tears in my eyes.

Never in my 26 years of living have I ever felt so overwhelmed with emotions.

He instantly grabbed me and tried to hug my but failed.

"Let me go!" He exclaimed.

The guards looked at each other srill in shock of what just happened and opened the gate.

One of them took out a key amd unlocked our chains.

The soon the strange mans cahins were unlocked he sprinted towards me and enveloped me in a tight hug.

I couldn't help but hug back.

"I'm so happy I finally found you. I didn't mean to hit you or try to kill you. I'm so sorry my belove. Please forgive me." The man begged.

"I'll forgive you if you answer this one question."

"Anything for you my love."

"What is your name?" I asked him

"My name is Jace milady." He tooked my hand in his and kissed it.

I felt tingles on where he kissed.

I couldn't help but blush.

"What a lovely name for a handsome man. My name is Jasmine."

I said feelig nervous afraid he won't like my name.

"What a beautiful name for a beautiful women." Jace said with a smirk on his face.

"What a classic Jace. Like every guy says that so its not really shocking if I have heard that before."

Jace face turned the color of a tomato.

"Well-I-I-thought y-you would-like y-you would like cheesy things since most girls do." Jace said scratching the back of his neck.

"Well I'm not saying its not cute im just say that it is a classic thing for boys to say to girls they think are pretty." I said trying not to make him feel bad.

He sighed and ran his fingers through his hair.

He took my hand in his and looked me in the eye.

"To be honest I have never seen such beautiful eyes." He said with a giant smile as he let go of my chin and the walked away
