Poems from a beating heart

False love

A smile shared from out of the blue
They lock eyes, for what seems an eternity
Hearts beating between the two.
He takes her hand nervously
Once more they lock eyes
And a kiss given from her to him.
Months go by and his love grows
He tells her things that no one has heard
And he sees her as a beautiful rose
But to her, he is nothing
He has always been nothing but puppet
And alas, He is left alone, with all but a bleeding heart
