Our hearts were beating as one
Simultaneously together
I looked at her,
Like she was my world
She looked at me
Like I was a simply a memory
She looked at me
With unloving eyes.
She told me no more
And my world, was shattered.
Broken promises were made
And I believed her, when she said
I loved you
With my world shattered
Could I ever go on?
Time showed me
To be the one
Who in the end
Is smiling.
Why settle for a world
For when I can have a universe
One day?
