Now You See Me • The Five Horseman

Chapter 1

Author's Note :
hey loves. this is definitely going to be an interesting story to write. i will not be including henley in the story. (sorry) and I do not own now you see me. I only own Gwen and Piper. and I'll be changing around the story so it will not follow the exact same guide lines as the movie. but anyways I hope you all enjoy the story. love you all :)

Gwen's Pov

"How's everyone doing tonight ? ", I ask the audience as the crowd cheers. "Wonderful ! That's what I like to hear ! ", Piper says, smiling. "So I'm assuming you guys would like to know what we have in store for you all tonight ? ", I ask, grinning. The crowd replied with multiple loud Yeses. "Oh come you can do better than that ! ", I exclaim as I hold my hand out to my ear. The audience roared with excitement. "Now that's what I'm taking about ! ", Piper yelled. "Okay now let's get into the show, shall we ", I say. "I will have exactly 45 seconds to escape from these chains underwater and swim to the surface to stop the cage from crushing Piper and the piranhas from falling into the tank with me . ", I tell the audience. "That's right. You heard the woman. I'll be laying in the crushing cage while Gwen escapes from the chains underwater. When she escapes she'll have to press this red button to stop the cage from crushing me, but she has to do it on time before the piranhas fall into the tank with her ", Piper says.

Piper's Pov

"So do you think she can do it ?!", I yell to the crowd. The crowd cheered with multiple yeses. "I sure hope she can because my life and her life depends on it !", I say as I smile towards Gwen. "Of course I can do it ! ", Gwen says, smiling at the crowd. "But first don't you think we should get a little cozy ? ", she asks as we rip our clothes off to reveal our sparkly suits underneath. "That's much better ! ", Gwen says as the crowd cheers. I then step into the crushing cage as Gwen puts on her chains. And the count down began. 3... 2... 1 !
Splash ! Gwen fell into the tank and the 45 seconds began. She got her arm unlocked and showed it to the crowd as they cheered. I pretended to get impatient and yawned as I pointed to my wrist as if I had a watch. As each second went by the cage closed in more on me. No need to fear, Gwen's got this. 30 seconds left and Gwen got her other arm unlocked which resulted in the crowd cheering. "Hurry it up, would you ?! ", I yelled over to Gwen as I smiled to myself. 15 seconds went by. That's odd she should have been done with one of her legs by now. I look over to Gwen and she's panicking. "HELP!!" You could here Gwen screaming in fear as she banged on the glass with her fists. The crowd gasps and then starts to scream frantically.  A few men grabbed a chair and slammed it against the tank in attempt to break it. "What's going on ?! ", I yelled in panic. "Somebody help me !", I scream in fear as the cage has me pinned to the ground. A man attempted to pull the cage upwards. No use. 5 seconds left on the clock. Gwen was screaming helplessly and banging her fists against the tank while I also scream hopelessly as the cage got tighter and tighter . 4... 3... 2... 1  A loud bell went off and the piranhas were emptied into Gwen's tank. They swarmed around her as she screamed in horror as the tank went red.

Gwen's Pov

4... 3... 2... 1  A loud bell went off and the cage slammed shut. I could hear Piper's last scream as the cage shut, crushing her.

Narrator's Pov

The crowd screamed in shock as Gwen's tank turned red with blood and Piper's cage slammed shut with a horrifying sound of bones crushing.

Gwen's Pov

"Come on! This is bullshit !", I yelled from the crowd. "Who ever thought of this is a sick sadist ! ", Piper also yelled from the crowd. The crowd then turned to face us and they all began to cheer. I laughed and turned to Piper and hugged her. "We did it !", she exclaimed. I grinned as I gave a guy that was near by a high five. "We did it ! ", I yelled.

*Later that night

"That was amazing .", I tell Piper. "That was probably the most coolest show yet ", she replied. I glanced over to the tank and there was a card with an eye and location on it. "What is that?", i say as it flips around. "Lunar guardian ", I read aloud. What the hell does that mean, I thought to myself. I looked over to Piper and she had already discovered another one. "Solar assassin ", she said. "What are they ?", I ask. "they're tarot cards", she responded. "but isn't The Eye just a myth ?", I say.

Piper's Pov

"Maybe we should go, come on it'll be fun. You can think of it as some type of mystery. Besides I can't be the only one that's wondering what this all means.", I say. Gwen nods. "Yeah I think we should go. And if it really is The Eye think of what that'll mean for us. We could meet the greatest magicians of all time .", Gwen says. "Oh this is so cool ! ", I say. "We leave tomorrow ", Gwen says.

i hope you guys enjoyed it as much I enjoyed writing it. and just to let you guys know it is very slow in the beginning but don't worry it'll pick up soon and yes there will be some romances soon. i just needed to introduce the new characters. i will also be doing pictures of what they look like so make sure to look out for those. in fact there's one on this chapter :) but anyways I really hope you guys liked the story. love you all <3
