Gwen's Pov

I wake up to Piper tugging on my arm. "Wake up Gwen. We're leaving in 30 minutes so get ready. "Five more minutes", I say. "No, get ur ass up. And btw we're twinning today. I picked out your outfit for you, you're welcome", Piper says. I grunt and lazily go take a shower and put the clothes she chose for me on. "Great you're done. And must I say I did one hell of a job because we are smokin!", Piper exclaimed which only made me laugh. "I have to hand it to you Pipes, you did good", I say as we both laugh and walk out the door. We stop by Starbucks to get some coffee and then we go to the mysterious location. "The place is run down", Piper states. "Let's go", I say as I step out of the car. I had to admit I was a little excited. I mean The Eye wants to meet with us! "I don't know about this Gwen", Piper says. "Oh come on it can't be that bad. Where's the excitement at ?", I ask her. "You're right. Let's do this", Piper agrees. A guy very familiar then steps out of a taxi. "Gwen?", he asks. "Danny, hey. ", I reply. "Hi, how have you been ?", he asks. "I'm great and this is Piper she's my best friend and show partner.", I say.

Piper's Pov

"Hi very nice to meet you. I'm Daniel Atlas but most people just call me Atlas", Atlas says as he shakes my hand. He was cute. "Piper", I say and smile. I then notice that Gwen goes inside. "We should probably get going", I say as I gesture for him to go inside. "Oh yeah, of course", he says and slightly blushes. I smiled and we walked into the building. Gwen was already talking with an older guy with a hat. "Hang on don't tell me... Grace, Genny... Ah Gwen", the man says to Gwen. "You're names on your cup", Atlas states. "That wasn't mentalism, I was improvising.", he stated. "Guys this is Merritt", Gwen says introducing us to him. "Piper", I say and smile. "Lovely", Merritt replied as he grinned. Atlas then stepped in front of me. "Daniel Atlas, pleasure to meet you", atlas says as he holds his hand out for him to shake it. Merritt then holds up his middle finger. Gwen and I both laughed. "Very nice", Atlas says and goes to the door. "The doors locked", Gwen replied. "Is it really", atlas says as he walks up to the door. I walk over to him. "Here try my bobby pin", I say. "Thanks", he says. He eventually gives up walks over to the rest of us. "Just to clarify did all of you receive a card?", he asks. We hold them up. "Ah I see now, you're a control freak aren't you", Merritt says. "You don't need a mentalist to figure that out. Danny you are a control freak.", Gwen says. "I am not. I just like to be on top of things", he replied as Gwen rolled her eyes. "So how do you guys know each other?", I ask Gwen and Atlas. "She was my assistant", atlas replied. "Until he decided that I was to fat for him", I retort. "I said that once. It was a trap door incident", he says to all of us. "No one could possibly fit in that Danny" "Rebecca did, for many years", Daniel said. Gwen crossed her arms.

Gwen's Pov

I crossed my arms. And then a boy with brown hair came up the stairs. "No way J. Daniel Atlas? I'm a big fan. There's not a trick of yours that I haven't seen. I'm Jack by the way. ", the boy says. "Nice to meet one of my true fans", Daniel says and shakes his hand. "Um excuse me did you get one of these cards", Merritt asks as he holds up his card. "Uh yeah", Jack says as he digs through his bag and pulls out his card. "Death", he reads aloud. "Hermit", Merritt says. "Lunar guardian", I say and shrug. "Lovers", atlas says. "Solar assassin", Piper says. Jack then smiles at me and I could feel my cheeks go red. "So what are we all standing out here for?", he asks. "The doors locked", Atlas replies. "Oh no, nothing is ever locked", jack retorts. He then walks over to the door and unlocks it with some tools. "Impressive", Merritt says as we all walk in. Atlas picks up a note and reads it out loud. "Now you don't." "What does that mean", Piper  asks. "Who knows", I say and sigh as I put a white rose into a vase of water. Water starts to move into the cracks in the floor and it forms a symbol. The symbol then sinks down into the floor and fog starts to come out. "It's gas", Jack states. "Relax its just dry ice", Merritt says. "This is amazing", Piper states. "Yeah but who did it?", Jack asks. "I don't know but I really want to meet them", I say. Atlas then flicks on the light switch and nothing happens. "The powers out", Atlas says. "Let's find out", Merritt says as he twists a light bulb. The light bulb comes on and a blue beam shoots out. Blue prints then start to show. "Are these blue prints?", Piper asks. "Yeah and they're amazing", Danny replies. "What are they of", Jack asks. "It's a show", I say and smile as I look over to Jack. He grins as we stare into each other's eyes.

sorry for the slow chapter. but don't worry the story will pick up soon and it'll be more fast paced. but in till then i  hope you guys liked this chapter. love you all !
