Unknown Pov

Most would call the white orb of light that flew in the sky at night a failing star, our lightning bug.

To the world of the unknown, they are considered Fates.

Everyone has a fate. The small ones blow in the nights breeze, writing somones story, writing somones life.

Every now and then a fate falls from the sky.

That fate has traveled thousands of years for it's story to come true. A story meant for only one person.

Every fate can't move on to the afterlife until their story has been upheld. Some wait years, even a million. They wait up in the stars until they sense the soul of who's fate they are.

A certain fate has been traveling throw space, for 19 years, to reach the soul that calls out to them. The souls pain causes the rain. But what it goes through will one day soon be worth it

"Your fight will come to an end. Hold on child,"the fate whispered.

The first sight of earth came to view. Flowers, and trees. Soft grass. The orb floated above the ground, a pull pulling it toward the east.

The fate followed the pull until it came to a stop bedside a bench.

The soul laying upon the bench asleep was beautiful. Long straight dark red hair, peachy skin. Dark lashes around eyes that were probably breath taking.

The orb floated by the girls ear.

"You will shine bright." it whispered.

The girl let out a sign and feel into a deep slumber.

The Fate had waited since the beginning of time for this soul. Now, finally, the world of the unknown will change. As well as the girls. Then the fate will burn out, and become part of natures wonders.

"It's time, isn't it?" a voice behind the fate said.

The orb floated into the outstretched hand of the fey. The present of this fey spoke of meaning, power.

This fey was a worrier, a knight.

"Yes, knight, its time."

The knight looked over at the girl, warmth in his eyes.

"Your her fate," he started. "Why did she have to go through all that she has?"

His voice was hard, protective.

"What people go through makes them who they are. Without her circumstance, she wouldn't be the person she'll soon become," the fate answered.

The knight walked over to the bench and softly touched the girls check

"She's known nothing but cruelty," he whispered.

"Not for long," the fate said.

The fate glowed bright, then as fast as it came, it disappeared into the night.

The echos of the knights words to the girl blew into the night.

"I'll make you happy."
