The Crazy Ones (Joshifer) part 2

She pulls me close to her face so that we are practically two inches away from each other. Then she gives me a kiss on the cheek and lets me go.

"Goodnight" she whispers.

I was speechless. I didn't know what to say. All I could do was smile.

I slowly drag myself to my bed and jump on it, letting out a big sigh. I turn around and look at her. She looks beautiful when she sleeps, so I just sit there and gaze at her. Hours pass by until I fall asleep, and when I do, it's not a good dream. When I wake up, I feel stuffy and sweaty. Thats when I realize that Jen was sitting next to me, holding my hand in both of hers.

"I got you some water." She says picking it up from the night stand.

"Thanks" I say.

"What happened?"

"You had a nightmare. I was trying to wake you up but you wouldn't budge. You were in a deep sleep so I just sat here until you woke up."

"How long were you sitting here?"

"About 20 minutes. But it's ok. As long as you're fine" she says stroking the sweaty hair out of my face.

I take her hand off my face and pull her towards me, her arms wrapping around my waist. She buries her face into my chest. Then we sit there like that for the rest of the night, wrapped in each other's arms.

Chapter 11

Jennifer's POV

When I wake up, I'm still in the same position as I was when I fell asleep. I feel Josh's breath brush against my face because my face was right under his. Then he wakes up giving me the biggest smile.

"Hey Jen"

"Hi. Did you sleep better?"

"Yeah"

"What time is it?" he asks.

"10:30"

"Oh ok. I promised Sam that I was gonna hang out with him today"

"Ok great. I was gonna talk to Jenna about some stuff"

"Like what?"

"Just girl stuff" I say.

I slowly get up and go to the bathroom. I take my toothbrush out and realize I didn't bring toothpaste. Well what am I supposed to do now?

"Josh?!"

"Yeah?"

"Do you bring toothpaste by any chance?"

"Umm who doesn't?"

"Me. I forgot to bring."

"Wow Jen. Go over to my suitcase, and you will find it in the side pocket."

"Can you please get it for me?"

"Ugh bu-"

"Josh I have a frickin cast on and you can't get your lazy ass up?!?!!"

"Fine I'm getting up jeez"

He gets up and drags himself to his suitcase, searching for the toothpaste. He finds it and gives it to me.

"About time" I say.

"Scoot over" he says.

I turn on the water and start brushing my teeth. I look over at Josh, who is making retarded faces in the mirror just to get my attention. I spit out the water from my mouth and start laughing like a crazy person.
