Chapter One... Family These Days.

Chelsea's POV

I made a mistake.

A big one.

Can't believe I was so stupid.

Now all I have to do is solve it. Great!

Flashback:

"Hey Chelsea. Just wanted to let you know you are officially an aunt now... again," my brother, Dustin told me.

"That's lovely. What's his name?" I asked.

"How do you know he's a boy?"

"Because you just said he's. Now what is he?" I rolled my eyes.

"His name is Dwayne."

"Figures considering all your children's names start with D."

"I have two children, Dalton and Dwayne," he sounded annoyed.

"And a wife named Danika."

"You're just jealous because I actually have a family of my own."

"I will, once my prince charming comes around!" I snapped.

"Chels, we're adults. Can we not act like we're teenagers again?"

I heard a baby cry.

"I have to go, Dwyane is crying again. Oh and I'm coming down to visit Michigan and mom and dad want you to come, too, for Christmas."

"Whatever, just go to your baby." I hung up.

Stupid Dustin. Stupid kids. Stupid family! Stupid love!

Not even ten minutes later, I got another phone call.

I rolled my eyes as I saw the caller ID.

"What Mom?"

"Chelly! Don't be like that! You know, your father  and I miss you so much! We can't wait until you come down to Michigan! I don't know why you ever wanted to go to New York," Mom told me.

I rolled my eyes. "For university, and I'm still in university."

"I thought you were done that ages ago!"

"No, last year. My graduation is in six months, just letting you know," I told her.

"And you still don't have a family! I was sixteen when Dustin was born!"

"Excuse me that not everyone wants to ruin their lives by being a teenaged mother!"

"It doesn't bother me that people judge me anymore. Plus, you're not a teenager anymore so it wouldn't 'ruin' your life!"
