01. The Morning

So tomorrow is the first day of my senior year, THE LAST YEAR of school, and I don't really know what to expect. I know I'm pretty nervous and kinda freaking outt. I want to make it the best year of my high school and I won't let anyone ruin it for me_ not even him..

I wanna have so much fun with my friends and make so many memories together. But also I wanna do so many things alone by myself and for myself.

Have you heard of bucket lists before?

You know those lists, where people write down the things they should do at least once in their life _ let's not say "things they must do before they die" because to be honest, I don't think they're that important that you MUST do them before dying. If you get a chance to do them GREAT but if you don't then that's fine too, cause you've probably had a ton of other experiences that are even better than them.

Anywayy now about my bucket list.. Well it's not already done and I think it'll be quite looong coz I wanna do so many things, you know, like Bungee jumping, travel to a theme park with someone I love, write my own book aaaand of course donate blood for someone. that I'll tell you about later because now I really need to sleep coz tomorrow is no normal day my folks!..

06:00 a.m.
*Beep* *Beep* *Beep*

The alarm clock on my phone rings so loudly piercing my ears so early in the morning. Ughh I wanna throw it out of the window so bad. And I don't wanna move.

It's like I'm literally glued to my bed. After like 5 Minutes I hear mom's voice from downstairs shouting so loudly "Emily honey, did you wake up?"

She adds "Today is your first day of senior year, you should wake up now and prepare yourself".

Ughhh after a while I managed to take my blanket off my body and get up. I headed then to the bathroom to wash up. I go through my clothes looking for a suitable outfit for today.

I don't have anything to wear. Like, my closet is full of clothes but I just don't find that outfit that satisfies me. The one that makes me feel confident. You know what I mean?.. Question directed to girls only of course. Coz guys always manage to dress themselves up even if they don't have so many clothes..

After moments of pondering, I finally decide to wear a calm winter dress, whose color is between blue and green_ I can't tell so well really_, with stockings and dark blue boots. Regarding the hair I just curled it up into warm waves and wore a lubricant comb on it.
That's pretty much how I like to dress up.

After that I headed to the bathroom to put some makeup on. I personally don't like to wear heavy makeup so I just go for simple.
I put foundation on and spread it on my face with my light blue beauty blender.
When I was done with that, I extended my hand to grab the mascara and I curled up my eye lashes with it.
I don't like to put eye liner on because I don't feel comfortable wearing it and tbh I never get both eyes right whenever I put eye liner on. One of them has to always fail me and look like it has a bruise afterwards.

I looked at my lips and tried to imagine what lipstick color would suit my outfit best.
I thought dark red would fit perfectly so I grabbed the dark red lipstick and painted my lips with it but very lightly. I don't wanna look like a witch afterwards.

After getting myself ready I went down the stairs and headed to the kitchen to eat some breakfast. I was greeted with my mom's smiling face and she said "Good morning honey."

I reciprocated the smile and said "Good morning," back.
I added "did dad already wake up?"

She answered "Yes, since 5 am and has already headed to the hospital."

I nodded my head and stuffed my mouth with the roasted toast that was on my plate.

My dad is a neurosurgeon so he is most of the time very busy and doesn't have much time to spend with me, my mom and little brother. That always got into me. I really want to spend some more time with my dad but I rarely get the chance to.

I still understand nevertheless. It's his job that obligates him to arrange his time like that.

But don't get me wrong, my dad is still the most loving and caring father. Thanks to him we have this big beautiful house and are having a good life. Also he always tells me how much he cares about me, loves me and wants me to be a strong woman with a powerful voice.

My mother and I were eating our breakfast so peacefully until a very loud sound broke the prevailing silence. After a mere second we realized it was the sound of a big bus's horn.

My mom looked at me and said in hurrying tone "Quickly Em, take your stuff and head to the bus!"

I nodded my head and threw an "Okay" while getting up the chair and heading to the couch in the living room, which I put my backpack on last night before going to bed.

I snatched my backpack and pulled my light jacket from the hook it was hanging on and headed outside the door. I waved my hand at my mom before closing the door after myself.

As I was walking on the aisle in the middle of our house loan I was a faced with a big yellow school bus. Through its windows I could see teenagers talking to each other so expressively. I suppose they're telling each other about what they did in the summer holidays.

As I walked further, the bus driver pressed on a red button and the bus door opened, dividing into two slides and each slide going the opposite direction.

I walked up the small pair of stairs and I greeted the bus driver with a smile and said ,"Good Morning".

He gazed for a second and said, "Good Morning" back from under his mustache.

I completed walking through the bus between the two rows of seats each to my left and right until I found an empty seat beside a girl that had long dark black hair. She had a dark skin and a red dot on her forehead. So I figured she might be Indian/Pakistani.

She had a pretty complexion and looked like a cute person.
