Or at least this is what Delilah is told.
You see, Delilah is blind, she has been since the young age of 4. Because of this, Delilah has always been able to "see" the beauty within someone rather than what's on the outside. She tends to keep to herself and can tell good people from bad people. Even with being visually impaired, she lives her lively as easily as everyone around her does. Most of the time people can't even tell she's blind until she tells them she is. With each passing day, Delilah feels more confident in her ability to life and survive in this world on her own.The world is full of beautiful people.
Zachary being one of them.
Or at least that's what he's been told.
Zachary grew up believing beauty was everything and that's all he really had going for him. When people looked at him, all they saw was a pretty face. They didn't see a guy who volunteered at a pet shelter. They didn't seem guy who waited in line all night for the next book in his favorite series to come out. Little by little Zach became an arrogant, cocky, superficial playboy who only cared about people's looks rather than who they are on the inside.Their worlds collide when a certain festival rolls into their town and draws them both there. Delilah catches Zach's eye, but he has a hard time getting her to give him a second glance. Zachary begins to realize that his good looks finally can't get him whatever he wants. Read to laugh and cry along with the characters as they face difficult life events and go through wacky situations in this story of a blind girl teaching a superficial boy to see with his heart rather than his eyes.
