"Are you sure that you want to go to school today?" Dani asked as she sipped on her latte. I held Callie in my arms and offered her a reassuring smile. But, that didn't make her concerned expression fade away. I placed Callie down in her crib and folded my arms, letting go a heavy breath.

"Yes, I can do it. . .Anyway, I can't miss any more classes. That will not look good in my record. I know that they understand my condition, but I already have enough bad reputation after almost everybody found out I had a baby"

"I hope you're not blaming it all in Callie" she said, which made me widen my eyes.

"I would never blame it all in an innocent child that had obviously nothing to do with all this trouble. It was Nash's and I's fault. No one else" I said and put all my books in my bag. "Besides, I need a distraction, with everything that has been going on, I need to get out and be normal. . ."

"But, Gwen, you are not normal"

"Okay, can everyone please stop saying that? Jeez" I said in annoyance. "First Nash, now you. . .I know I am not normal, I just want to pretend that I am and that I didn't make a stupid mistake"

"Your baby is a mistake?" she asked in complete shock. I sighed heavily and rubbed my face with both of my hands, trying to look for the right words to explain myself to her.

"I don't mean that Callie is a mistake, okay? I'm just saying that a teenager like me shouldn't have a baby"

"And I understand that. . .I'm just so happy that you didn't choose abortion"
