So today I'm going to a Cubs with my friend Alex. Alex is friends with one of the players so he got tickets for he game. I don't live in Chicago but I came over here to the Windy City for a film/ editing classes at the University of Chicago. I'm not much of a Cubs fan or even a baseball fan but if I had to pick one it would be the Cubs because their all Alex ever talks about. I didn't know what to wear today so I borrowed on of Alex's shirts which is an Arrieta one. He told me that he's their best pitcher.

We're at Wrigley and the game is supposed to start in like 5 minutes so we go sit in our seats.

" So who are they playing today?" I ask Alex while eating my Kettle Korn I just bought. He laughed. " Lexie, they just announced it they're playing the White Sox. It's the Crosstown Cup. " He says like I should know these kind of stuff.

Fast forward to the end of the game

" Wow, that game was GREAT!" Alex screamed. I laughed. " Yeah, it was pretty cool I guess." I said

"C'mon we gotta go get Russell." Alex told me. "Wait, who's that?" I ask him while following him. " My friend, now come on." Alex said while dragging somewhere.

"Um, Alex where are we going?" I ask him. " We gotta go Russell told us to meet him outside of the ballpark." Alex said taking my hand and dragging me with him. We were walking outside Wrigley field and into the parking lot to find his friend.

We walked all the way down the parking lot until we found his friend Russell. So he says.

He's wearing a Take October sweatshirt and Nike blue shorts.

" Hey man. You did good today." Alex says bro hugging the man. " yeah I guess you could say that. So who's this?" Russell asks. Walking to me shaking my hand. " I'm Lexi, and you're Russell?" I ask him. He giggles a bit. " yeah. Well my names Addison. Some Call me Addison, Addi, or Russell like Alex. " he says. So his names not Russell. " Oh ok. Kinda makes sense I guess." I say to him.

We walk to his car. " You can call me Addi tho. " Addison says. I nod " ok " I'm about to get in when Addi asks me to sit in front by him. " Well I don't really care. " I say getting in front. Alex friend a little but gets in the back with little whining.

It's currently 10 ish and we all decided to go out to eat. Luckily in Chicago restaurants are still up and open. We choose a nice but not too nice place. Addi and I aren't very hungry but Alex is starving. We walk into the restaurant and instantly get a seat in the back. We sit down Addison and Alex across from me. Luckily it's a circle table or else it would've weird if was sitting by myself . We get out drinks and Alex ordered his food. Addi and I agreed on sharing some fries cuz we had to get something even tho we weren't hungry at all.

We eat our food and Alex pays and Addi and I just let him because we're both tired. We get back in the car and Addi starts to drive. I give him my address but he drops off Alex first cause we live like a block away from each other.

It wasn't too awkward when it was just us in the car. We made small talk. " So when were you going to tell me you are the short stop for the Chicago Cubs? " I ask him just now figuring out. " You didn't know that." He stops at a red light and looks at me. " You didn't know that?" He laughs. " Yeah I knew you sounded a little familiar so I looked you up. " I say. He starts to drive again. "So you're not a big baseball fan are you?" He asked me. I shake my head " No not really " I say . He pulls up to my apartment and get out and opens the door for me. " why thank you Mr. Addison " I say while he helps me out of the car. He walks me to my door.

" So um I know this is weird but can I um have your number?" Addison asks me shyly. I giggle. We switch phone and add each others numbers.

" I'll call you ." He says. " ok ." I say. He leans down and kisses me on the check.

" Well gotta go. See you again?" He asks. I nod my head. " Alright goodbye beautiful." He says walking away. " Bye mr Connie." I say while he walks away. I get inside and instantly melt. Wow he is sooooooo hot. Like wow.
