Rahquise In The Multimedia
💕Jordyn 💕
As I stepped out the car, I made sure the my appearance was somewhat presentable before I walked into this Starbucks Coffee shop. I made sure that my doors were locked before I entered.
It was hot at this point of July in Atlanta, ninety-seven degrees to be exact. This little white boy held open the door for me.
"Thanks." I told him. He had to be about five or six.
"You're really pretty. I want a girl your color, I don't like the light ones like me." He said. My mouth opened in awe. This boy was literally so cute. His mother laughed.
"Thank you." I dug into my pocket and gave him a dollar. He smiled and turned to his mother as I walked off. I scanned the shop looking for Rahquise, and spotted him near the back. I hurried over there. I as over an hour late.
"Hey sorry I'm late. I had shit to do." I dropped my purse on the table and sat on the opposite side of him. He just watched me with a slight attitude.
"Sure." He dragged out. I rolled my eyes and put my phone on vibrate.
"Whatever, if it wasn't for Hazel and Avori I wouldn't have came." I mumbled loud enough for him to hear.
"I would've came over there and forced you to talk to me. This conversation would have eventually happened, so don't sit here and feed me that bullshit." Rahquise spat calmly but I could still tell that he was mad.
I tucked my lips into my mouth and tapped my nails on the table waiting for him to speak. Instead he pulled out a small wallet, maiya's to be exact and slid it over to me. I just looked at it, not knowing what to do with it.
"Open it." He said motioning towards the wallet.
What does this have to do with anything?
I undid the clasps on it and opened it up. Inside there was a small baggie with some pills in it. In permanent marker, in scrawny hand writing that belonged to maiya's it said ecstasy but it wasn't just ecstasy, it was some other unknown pills in here.
She did this shit.
I let out some air and put the bag back with shaking hands.
"When I told you that I didn't know if I fucked maiya. I was dead ass serious. Jordyn I told you from the jump I would never hurt you." He grabbed my hands in his. I didn't say anything, I just stared at our hands.
"Babe look at me." He demands.
"I can't."
"Ye-" He started.
"No! I can't, Rahquise. I feel dumb, played, embarrassed."
"It's alright we gon get through it." He reassured.
