Their screams.
Their screams filled my ears.
The whimpering and shrieking surrounding me it was all I could hear.
I felt just as trapped as them.
The sky was bright and I had no trouble seeing the house in front of me. The house I loved. The house I grew up in. The house that was currently burning with everyone I knew suffering inside. I knew I couldn't help but that didn't stop my legs from pushing me forward towards the flames.
I could smell it.
The smell of burning flesh and hair.
And the smell of pure fear and pain. I've never hated being a werewolf so much. All my senses were filled with their collective suffering.
I circled the house.
Looking for a way to help.
Looking for a way to not be useless.
To not be alone.
The flames were hot and close but I needed to get closer.
My pain was nothing compared to theirs.
They were together.
They were watching each other's pain and suffering and they had no way to escape.
The world shook around me.
They were screaming still.
Screaming my name.
Screaming curses.
Screaming at me they know it's my fault I led her here I killed them all.
The world shook more and I thought everything was going to crumble to dust.

"DEREK" I woke sweating and shaking, "Derek, Derek hey are you okay?" I looked up at Stiles, he had gripped me by both my shoulders and was shaking me lightly.
"Yeah I'm fine Stiles it was just a little night mare," I reassured him, turning over and pretending to go to sleep.
But it wasn't just a nightmare, it was a memory and it haunted me as I lay next to Stiles' sleeping form.
It was a memory that haunted me every waking hour of my life.
