"Are you CRAZY?!? Like have you absolutely lost it??" I whisper yelled at Elizabeth.
Elizabeth keeps her smile plastered on as she continues to wave over Luke.
"Just give him a chance Ella." She grits out of her wide grin as he starts to sit down in the chair in front of me.
"Nope. Nope I can't deal with this. Not today. Goodbye."
I yank my arm out of Elizabeth's iron grip and throw a searing glare at Luke as I stomped out of the cozy little bakery. It's MY bakery and that's just ANOTHER thing of mine that he has taken today. Ooh I just can't stand that boy.
I hear him calling after me as I shove past the glass doors. I don't even bother to stop as I start to fumble for my keys. I had just grasped them between my fingers when I feel a heavy hand land on my shoulder. I panic and out of instinct I swing my elbow back as hard as I can.
"Woah! What the heck?! Did you just try to HIT me?!"
I cringe and slowly turn around as I start to realize who I swung on. "Oh gosh. I'm so so so sorry. Oh man, I really didn't want to hit you I just sorta kinda panicked. Are you okay? Do I need to go get ice?"
I start to reach up to check his face for bruising but stop myself. What on earth am I doing? Why did I just do that? He can take care of himself. Oh gosh he probably thinks I'm a freak, especially because I swung at him. Oh man-
"Wait, what are you saying?"
Oh gosh, I was mumbling out loud.
"Um nothing...sooo ice?
"I'm fine. You barely got me."
"Oh thank God." I barely choke out.
At that time everyone decides to come out to make sure I haven't killed him yet, Elizabeth especially. A good thing too, because I nearly did. Oh gosh I feel so bad. I'm such screw up, oh gosh.
I turn back to Luke "Are you sure you're ok?"
"Ya, I promise I'm fine."
"Ok good. Well I'm leaving. This has been enough excitement for a year or two for me. So goodnight, bye guys."
I wave at my group of friends and just try to ignore Luke as I climb into my dingy little car. This car is so old, sometimes I wonder if it will even start.
I cram my keys into the ignition and crank it and all I hear is this faint clicking.
"No no no no no no. Pleeease no!"
I look up and see everyone's blank stares while I keep cranking the ignition hoping that it will miraculously start.
"Oh come on!" I flail my arms up and hit the steering wheel a couple times.
I can't believe this! Tonight of all nights is when it decides to quit working. I clamber out of my car mumbling to myself what a piece of crap it is.
I slowly start to walk back towards everyone and sigh.
"Well I guess I'm gonna need a ride so would you mind dropping of one more person Mads?"
At this Mads raises her eyebrows. I look at her a little confused. She kinda looks like she does when she gets one of her crazy ideas. What-
Mads suddenly clears her throat and says "Well I think it's about time we all head out. Let's get in the car everyone!"
I look at her wondering why she is acting so weird, but head towards her car anyway assuming that's a yes.
