"Can you stop acting like a crybaby" I playfully rolled my eyes
"I just wanna look good I don't wanna look to look basic" she said while picking through clothes in my closet
"You never look basic you always look good" I said with a big smile on my face
"Thank you bestie that's why I love you, you always know what too say" she blew a kiss at me
"That's what I'm here for right"
"So kenken do you have any plans tonight" she ask with curiosity
"Not really but my next door neighbor invited me to his house party, but I'm not going"
"You should go... so you can bring me a plate back" She laughed
"I'm not going over there just to bring you a plate back silly ass girl"
"Girl you lame as fuck you can at least bring me a chicken back damn" she said with a fake attitude I laughed at her and laid back on my bed
"I mean you should go you need to get out this house and stop being so anti-social" she said as she sat down next to me
"I don't know Liv, I just don't want to be around a lot of people I don't know "
"Well if you do go wear this" she said while holding this light pink dress
"Mhm I'll think about it after this nap"

I woke up from my nap and I decided that I should go to that party. It's better then being in the house on a saturday night, If we being honest I really do need to get out of this house. I got up from my bed and I got in the shower I washed myself off, I closed my eyes and let the water run on my body. I started too think about Shawn. What if he's doing better without me, or if he has a wife and kids, out I shook off my thoughts and I got out the shower and got dressed.
I walked downstairs to see if livia was there still there because her date didn't start until 8 and it's 7:30 but she wasn't but I seen the note she left on the fridge
"I was going to stay too see you leave because I already knew you was going to go but I had to hurry up before I missed my date but bestie I know you looking good and when you get home tell me how the party went"

I put the note down on the counter then I grabbed a water bottle from out the fridge, I turned off all my lights and locked my door and went next door to the party. I seen a lot of cars outside I walked up too the door and ringed the door bell and the man from yesterday answered.
"Wassup ,I'm surprised you came.. Kenya right? " he said with a gorgeous smile he was really good long he wasn't buff or anything but he was just built right
"Hey and Yes ,and...August right?"
"Yes ma'am and my bad come in and have fun oh and it's food in the kitchen" he said while moving out the way so I can come in
"okay thanks" I said coming in and admiring his home
"I'll be back I got to go introduce my other guest"
"Okay I'll be right here" I showed a weak smile he smiled back and walked off. I watched him introduced his self to his guest,he was very articulate and his accent was just perfect. I stopped staring at him and I walked around his house for a little bit. A few of his friends introduced their selves to me I introduced myself back. That's when this light skinned man with a lot of tattoos like August came busting in with bags in his hands
"WASSUP EVERYONE - he yelled so he can get everyone's attention
"HEYY CHRIS" everyone yelled back to him, he smiled then he walked off to the back then he saw me
"Wassup I haven't seen you before my name Chris" he said while putting his hand out so I can shake it
"Hi I'm Kenya"
"Nice to meet you" he smiled then he went back to what he was doing. I watched as he left I started to get tired of standing so I sat down for a little just watching everyone socializing and that's when august came down the stairs
"I'm sorry I left you by yourself you good mama" He asked as he sat down next too me.
"I'm good but nice house you have I like how it's decorated" I said as I gazed around his home
"Thank you I decorated it myself" he said while popping his imaginary collar
I laughed at his corniness and then I went right back looking at how amazing his home was
"So kenya tell me about yourself" he asked me
"Um okay well lets see..... I'm 23 years old, I love to write and I'm a Nurse. I have no siblings my mother and father are happily married my favorite color is blue and um I love pizza" I said
"You're beautiful too" he said with a grin
"Thanks, so August tell me about yourself"
Ok well I'm 24 years old, I love to sing and rap It's my passion. I own my own business. I have a sister and my older brother died when I was young. My mother and father are not together. My favorite color is red and I like tacos
"I'm sorry for your lost" I looked up at August
"Its alright it's not your fault baby girl"
"So August what kind of business you run" I ask as I changed the conversation
"I make and sell my own clothes and shoes for men and women" he said with confidence
"I have to go to your store one day then"

We talked and talked until everyone left and it was just me and August there
"Oh shit it's 12 o'clock I should get going" I got up from my seat and grabbed my purse
"It was nice talking too you Kenya we should do this again" he said while walking me to the door
"We should I had a nice night August, I'll see you later" I waved august bye and I walked next door to my house. I unlocked my door and I went upstairs to take a shower, I brushed my teeth and put my hair in a cute messy hug.I got dressed into my pjs and I crawled into my bed. I went to Netflix and I finished watching riverdale for a bit then I started to think that August guy isn't really a bad guy he's very handsome and not rude he alright. I continued to watch my show and I started to get sleepy and a few hours later I fell asleep.
