Alisa's POV

Amsterdam, Netherlands

My birthday was now two days away, and I was actually starting to get excited. Even with all this drama going on, I couldn't help but be excited about. I was more happy about finally getting to see Isabel and Aldric, but more happy about Isabel.

I sat up from my bed, and looked around my room. I slept in, seeing that it was already noon. I sighed and got out of bed. I walked into the bathroom and saw a mess. My hair was in all different directions, I had bags under my eyes, and there was a small spot of dried up slobber next to my lip, which was kinda gross.

I turned on the shower, and rinsed off quickly. Once I was done, I changed and fixed my hair. I hardly wore any makeup, so I only put on a bit of it. I walked out my room and headed towards the kitchen. I expected it to be empty, since breakfast was over now. Once I walked in, I was wrong. Klaus stood in front of the counter, eating what looked like cake, but I could be wrong. I ignored him and went to grab bread.

"Your dad left you some breakfast. I'm sure it's cold already." He plainly said. I looked around the kitchen and saw the plate of french toast and eggs sitting on the counter, next to Klaus. I sighed and walked over to grab the plate. I was about to run out of there, until Klaus stopped me.

"You might want to warm it up. It's been sitting there for a while now." I gave him glance, wanting him to just mind his own business. He had no business with me, at all. Especially after what he had said, it's not like anything is going to go back to normal.

"I'm fine with it like this." I sternly said, and walked out the kitchen. I let out breath I didn't know I was holding in, finally feeling relieved to be out of there. I walked back to my room and set the plate on top of a table. I had then remembered that I had nothing to eat it with. I sighed and was about to walk out to go grab a fork, but there was a knock on my door. I opened revealing Klaus with a fork and knife.

"Thought her stubbornness would like these, seeing as how she forgot to grab them earlier." He said. I gave him a mean look and snatched the fork and knife out of his hands. He looked down at me as if waiting for something. I slammed the door in his face and sat at the small table in my room. I looked down at my plate. For some reason, I had suspicion about it. I got up and went to find my brother.

"Andrei, what did you guys eat this morning, for breakfast?" I asked.

"Something simple. It was called Dutch breakfast cake. It was pretty good. Why you ask?"

"You guy didn't have french toast?" I asked. He nodded his no. Could he have.....

I looked at Andrei, saying bye to him and ran back to my room. I looked down at the plate again, wondering if by any chance, if, Klaus had made it. My stomach grumbled, telling me it was hungry. I sighed and pushed the thought to the back of my mind. I had enough going on already. i ate the food, savoring every taste. I t was tasted great.

Once I was done, I went back to the kitchen and laid the plate into the sink. I grabbed a glass cup and served myself some water. I leaned against the counter, and looked out the window. I could see the trees, and the clouds hiding behind them. It all looked pretty.

"Alisa." I heard a voice say. My eyes widened and I stood straight. I felt a hand on  my shoulder, making me stiff.

"What do you want Sevastion?" I asked. I heard a small chuckle, and his grasp on my shoulder got tighter. I tried to shake off his hand, but it stay right on my shoulder.

"Nothing, I can't just approach my fiance." He said, making me shudder, knowing he really was my fiance. I started to walk away, but he pulled me back and pinned me against the wall. I tried to escape him, but he made sure I wouldn't.
