Bri P.O.V

I walk in the doors to the main office to get my schedule, I am introduced to the principal by one of the desk ladies up front. "Hello I am Principal Collins and you must be our newest student Bri." I nod but I don't speak. She looks at me like she's figuring out what to say. "well here's your class schedule and Connor here is going to show you around. Is that ok?" I say yes and then Connor walks in he seems surprised that I am going to be the new student he's showing around. "Hey again I am going to show you around this place you ready." I nod "then let's get going shall we." he says. We walk out of the office and into the halls they are mostly empty so that means class has started, weird I didn't hear the bell ring, I might have heard it if I wasn't internally freaking out. Anyway I try to focus on what Connor is saying to me.

Connor P.O.V

She seems like she's way nervous so I try to lighten up the mood by trying to start a conversation. "You nervous" I say she snaps back to reality again "yeah maybe a little Its the first time I've had to move to a different school away from home" she says quietly. I can tell she's one who doesn't talk to a lot of people because she is shy. "Don't worry I bet you'll love it here you have already made one new friend. Where did you move from?" "Oregon" she says so soft I could barely hear her. "Well Minnesota isn't that different from Oregon so I think you'll get used to it quickly." "I hope so." she says more to herself than to me.

I spend the morning showing her to her locker then to her classes and before we know it lunch has rolled around. "What grade you in?" I ask "I'm a sophomore this year" she says "cool I'm a junior so we have the same lunch, here lunches are separated 10th and 11th in A lunch and 9th and 12th in B lunch." "Ok" she says " since its the first day and all grades have lunch at the same time you want to sit next to me at lunch." She agrees to sit with me so we walk in to the cafeteria.

We walk into the cafeteria and I see there are 5 boys waving at us or Connor I assume we walk over to their table and Connor introduces me to them. "Guys this is Bri the new girl I'm showing around, Bri this is Kian, Jc, Ricky, Sam, and Trevor." "Hey" they all say. "What grade are you in?" asks the tall brown haired boy known as Kian "I'm going to be a sophomore this year." I say quietly "cool, I'm a junior this year." "Actually me Kian and Connor are juniors this year and Sam is a sophomore and Trever is is the baby of the group he's a freshy." Jc let's out a little chuckle after saying that. I giggle "shut up Jc your just jealous I can sing and you can't."

"Oh so your a singer." I say more excitedly than i intended it to be, "yeah he is and he's actually really good, at it you a singer?" Sam asks. I think weather or not tell them about my YouTube channel where I do covers maybe not but I'll tell them I sing. "Yeah I can sing a little." "Really then can we hear you sing?" Trevor says excitedly. "I'm not sure I should." "C'mon let's hear it I bet your even better than trevy" "Connor what did I say about calling me trevy." he says kind of annoyed. Connor chuckles. "Fine" I gave in.
