I swore I'd never fall again.

Swore I wouldn't let anyone in.

Then I met you.

A boy bright eyes a heart so true.

Ya, You were messed up too.

Beat black and blue.

Circumstances left our lights do dim.

But then I saw you shine!

A diamond in the dust,

A light covered with rust.

I barley knew you,

Suddenly you were my best friend in the world.

See, you already had a girl.

She treated you so wrong

Therefor you sang a sad song.

I did too.

It wasn't just you,

Suddenly in my little broken world there were two,

Me and you.

I felt a fire burning deep within,

As you took my hand,

And promised we'd be okay.

Suddenly she was gone,

You told me to hold on.

This crazy ride.

Thats the night I'll keep in my memory,

I'll never let it fade.

There are times I wish she would've stayed

Mabey then we wouldn't be in so much pain.

I felt the bright turn to night,

The day to dark,

The fire to ice,

And our love to grainsof rice.

But I held on.

Hoping we could again be strong.

Praying that you wouldn't move on.

Id never been somewhere so dark

As the night you told me you'd take your life.

So I picked up my knife

Just as I held it to my throat

There goes my phone.

You.

I was broke before you.

Never have I felt so true for someone as I do for you.
