I laid awake processing all the sounds and atmospheres that were presented upon me, I was back, this scene in which I lay awake for moments isn't all to new for me. Yet something felt peculiarly different, I stood up and brushed myself off and began walking towards Flowey. Instead of misdirecting me with his little monologue of what LV is and such he was quite terrified. Very terrified actually.

"You gotta help me." There were a set of footsteps slowly intensifying with every step taken,"Flowey what do you--" A being then stepped out into the open, it was Toriel herself, yet something was way off from the Toriel I knew and loved. Her clothes were the complete opposite color, and her once very loving grin had a sinister tone to it. "Hello, child." Her voice remained the same, but her appearance was right on my creep factor.

She walked over the flowers and hugged me tightly then announced that she wanted to show me her home, she walked away then I grabbed onto Flowey and quickly followed. "Why are you so scared?" "She's gotten worse, it began with death threats and tiny things that I choose to ignore but it's been getting to me lately, I just can't take it anymore!" I softly shushed the loud flower as Toriel guided us into her living room then gave us a house tour with it ending shortly after I popped the question.

Unfortunately for me, I came off as an obnoxious child who only wanted to go forward, she might've been quite crazy to begin a battle in a hallway but nevertheless, it was destiny. Destiny that had killed me in a fiery blaze, I met with the save at the house so I saved myself from the introduction. That I enjoyed very much, actually. Toriel then finally tucked us into bed and kissed us goodnight then left us to rest,"We shouldn't stay here. She's acting too kindly, she's onto us."

"I know...I've got a plan so idiotic that it might work." I snuck into the kitchen where all the lights had been off, after planting Flowey into a small pot, we walked downstairs towards the doors out to the ruins. I finally met with Toriel she cried out on how foolish I was to sneak out at night, the battle began quickly with one thing leading to another, saddly I received many attacks but also deployed some of my own. I quickly regretted this decision so I allowed her to win, I returned to the save point then rested as the paranoia slowly calmed down.

In the morning we fought but I refused to strike her down, I dodged every possible move I could dodge and then an idea struck me. I ran to the doors noticing how she had shifted quite a bit too, she didn't mind this but her next attack helped destroy the doors. She quickly collapsed onto her knees and held her hand over her mouth as she began to softly sob. I slowly progressed my way over to her, I was hesitant and Flowey mentioned to back off, but her cries were enough to see that she was indeed Toriel.

I towered over her as she slowly lifted her head awaiting her faith but then I wrapped my arms around her as she did with me, Toriel reminded me of my mother at that point, protective but still an emotional being underneath. "Child, you've passed this old woman. You can surely pass anyone, if you believe and have faith. Take this, yet I cannot guarantee I will always be able to answer or call," Out from a hidden pocket she pulled out a small cellphone and handed it over to me,"go on. My child, and never return." We released and waved goodbye then proceeded forward.

I've passed...

But...

In this world...

It's kill or be killed.
