Chapter-4

When Mandell sees them, and she walkout, and she go home, and it was almost six and she finally at home, but her mom just came also to talk to her.

Mom: I told you to help me here? and why did you came at almost six.. did you you that i am tired to take care of your young siblings, dear...

Mandell: I am sorry, because i was in my friends, and we have just a picnic, and also finished our assignments..

Mom: Well you should go home early next time! and please you should not go with them, when it was not weekend, and you should help me here.!

Mandell: Okay! Just i am saying sorry... and why did you even lie to me?!

Mom: I did not teach you to raise your voice like that! and i did not told you to disrespect me!

Mandell: I was trying to say that you did lie to me, because i see Dad there, and he was in the restaurant somewhere with other girl, and what is that even mean?!

Mom: I told you before that he already leave us behind, and from now.. that you should more do to take care of your younger siblings..

Mandell: Well okay....

Mom: And from now on, that you should not go to school anymore because we don't have any budget for next week.

Mandell: What? i was going to school, and please let me finish to graduate.. and you need to see that i will have the great future and i always study hard to prove it..

Mom: You cannot go to school anymore, and you will do your responsibilities here!

Mandell: Please you have to listen to me!, i wanted to finished my school.. and but still i will do my responsibilities, and i will always help you mostly in house chores...

Mom: School? then when will happen then? we are still poor.. we have no money left.. and i don't know what to do?..

Mandell: Maybe we should ask help to Dad..

Mom: No, he already leave us.. and maybe i will going to find another job..

When her mom goes to the kitchen, and Mandell was cleaning the living room and she was already again study her lessons. and later on she was getting starving and they did not eat dinner yet.

Mandell: Mom, we don't have a dinner..

And her mom just did not replied, and Mandell was thinking of something, and she was going from somewhere that there is food. and she see that there is a lot of vegetable, in the vegetable garden. and Mandell was stealing carrots there. and but when she heard that the dog was barking, the woman suddenly came.

Woman: Who are you? Why are you trying to steal my crops?!

Mandell: My mom and my youngest sibling was just starving and we need to something to eat..

Woman: You liar!!

Then she hit her with her thick wooden stick, and Mandell was in pain, and she was beg and crying to stop.

Mandell: Please don't, you have to believe me.. please my family, they need to something to eat..

Woman: Okay, then tell me.. before i call the police, why you did just steal my crops? and i see you did mostly steal my carrots.

Mandell: Because we did not eat yet, and we don't have also a money.. and please don't call a police, or i will never do that again!

Woman: Are you sure that you will never steal my crops again?!

Mandell: Yes please, and i am really sorry.. because we need some food.. and next time i will never steal again in your garden, and i really promise that.. and please don't hurt me and because i was just leaving...
