I do understand that this is going to be arranged a little like how Kaneki's issue started. I own nothing of Tokyo Ghoul. I only own the characters I make up. Probably because of this, there might be no Kaneki.. but I think you fill in his place.

Dani scowled at his persistent, and highly annoying best friend: Kazuki Yukimura. "I get it, Kaz," Dani started, laughing, "But, wouldn't you think that's a little creepy?"

Kaz gives Dani a weird look. "I'm not being creepy," Kaz crosses his arms, "I'm just being observant. I don't try to, it basically just happens."

Dani laughs. "Okay, Kaz," he says, "Whatever you say."

Suddenly, Dani's ears turn to the television in the coffee shop:

Once again, there has been another ghoul attack during the week. The crime scene shows that it was none other than the binge eater, itself. There were body's upon body's. There were at least five humans piled up at the crime scene. Sad to say, they weren't fortunate-

Dani's turned my head back to Kazuki, who was also watching the news. "That's kind of scary," Kaz starts, "Usually the Twentieth Ward is quiet. I don't understand why the ghouls just started coming out of the blue."

Dani nods his head, agreeing to Kaz's statement. "It is rather strange.."

"Oh!" Dani starts, "Remember the girl I was telling you about?"

Kaz nods his head, taking a bite out of his pastry.

"Well," he says, "I scored a date!"

Kaz starts laughing. "You're serious?" He says. "Where are you going to take her?"

Dani touches his index finger to his chin, and taps it. "I don't really know.." Dani sighs, "We do share a similar taste in books, so maybe out to a book store."

Kazuki snorts. "You're serious?" He starts laughing.

Dani starts blushing. "Hey," he says, "It's not that funny. Why are you so mean, Kaz?"

This only made Kazuki laugh harder. "Hey, I gotta go. When is this date?" He says.

"Tonight," Dani sighs. Kazuki nods his head, "Okay. Well, don't embarrass yourself!" He yells as he exits the cafe.

We exited the bookstore, holding bags of the newest books we bought. Rize blushes, "I had a great time," she smiles. Dani turns toward her, "I did too.." he smiles.

"Um.. I hate to ask, but do you think you could walk me home.." Rize starts, "I'm sorry.. It's just.. I live close to where the ghoul attacks have been happening lately.."

Dani says, "No, it's okay. What kind of date would I be if I couldn't at least walk you home?" She smiles.

"Oh, I cant thank you so much," she says as we start walking. I smile, "No, its okay."

We come at an intersection and she points to the darkened ally way. "It's this way." We start walking in the direction of our destination. (*?)

"I can't help, but ask, but, um.." Dani starts, "Do you think.. maybe we could do this again?" He asks.

Rize smiles. "I'd love to!" Rize exclaims. We stand in front of each other, and she and Dani simultaneously lean into each other. When Dani thought she was about to kiss him, she puts her head near his neck.

Dani stiffens. He thinks, 'No... She can't be.' But he was wrong, and he knew it. She bites into his neck.

Dani gasps, and backs away. 'No..' that's all that's going through his mind at the moment. 'No way.. This can't be happening!'
