As Farkle waited in the dark hearing the rain beat against the window he knew she wasn't coming he laid down on his bed and went to sleep.
As Farkle as dreaming Riley opened the window and came in soaked in water.
"Farkle"
When he didn't answer she realized he was asleep. She shook him gently and as he opened his eyes looked up at Riley with water dropping off her hair. He smiled and looked at her.
"Why are you looking at me like that"
She smiled.
"Riley I will always look at you like this"
He gently grabbed her hand and put it on his face. It was cold . He took his covers and put it over Riley.
"Better"
"Better"
She looked up at Farkle and leaned in and kissed him on the cheek.
"Riley I've been wanting to ask this question for a while"
"What is it"
"Riley why me? Why did you bring me back into your life?"
She pulled his hand more towards her and put it in her cheek.
"You understand me. We have a connection that no one else could have"
"Well I'm glad you chose me Riley"
He pulled her hair behind her ear.
She smiled at him and he smiled back.
"I'm glad I did too"
"I'm waiting on the world to change"
"Why"
"I don't want to rule a world love like this a world without you"
"Farkle I'm never going to leave you"
"I know you love me too much"
She laughed and leaned her head into Farkle's shoulder and fell into a deep sleep.
