Nightmare

*Rika we have something to give you" my mother Mieko said she looked like this

"Oh what is it?" I asked excited

"You'll have to open it to find out" my father Shin said as he handed me a small box covered in wrapping paper my dad looked like this

"Ok" I said as I ripped into the paper

It was a necklace and it was beautiful

"Thank you mommy and daddy your the best" I said as I gave them a big hug

"Here let me put it on you" my dad said as he leaned down and put it around my neck then clasped it

"Now as long as you have this necklace we'll always be with you so you half to take care of it" my mom told me with a smile

"Wow ok I will mommy" I told her as I silently promised to never lose the necklace

"Happy birthday" my parents said together as I just looked at them in wonder

"Ok let's go have a birthday dinner" my dad said as he picked me up and we started walking towards the car and buckled me in to my car seat before getting in and starting the car and driving away from home

"Oh where are we going to eat at" I asked them

"It's a surprise" my mom said secretly

"Aww you know I hate surprises" I told them with a pout

"Too bad" my dad said childishly

"At lease give me hints" I said with my puppy dog face

"Nope that won't work this time" mom said while shaking her head

"fine" I said as I looked out the window with a frown

"Come on don't frown let's have fun" dad said as he started to sing happy birthday to me and mom joining him

"We love you honey" my mom said as she looked back at me

Then I felt it something had hit us the car flipped as I screamed for mom and dad then I passed out from pain

The next time I woke up I was in a lot of pain I hurt everywhere

"Mom dad where are you" I asked when I noticed that mom and dad were missing from the car and the windshield was busted

My window was busted so I unbuckled myself from my car seat and climbed out but it was hard because I hurt everywhere

"Mom" I yelled with a gasp as I found her but she had blood all over her face and she looked like she was asleep then I noticed dad wasn't far from her but he looked to also be asleep there was blood all over it had gotten on my hands as I tried to shake my mom awake

"Wake up" I yelled at mom but she wouldn't get up so I tried dad

"Why won't you just get up" I asked my dads body just now noticing how cold he was and that his lips were blue while he was very pale

Sirens are what I heard as I cried over my dads body then I saw the lights red and blue so I looked over and noticed that they were coming towards me then they finally stopped and I noticed that people had gotten out and were walking towards me

"Are you alright" a woman officer asked

"They won't wake up" I answered her

She just looked at me sadly before saying "could you please step away from them so we can help you"

I just shook my head so she looked towards someone and nodded her head as a man started to walk towards me and picked me up as I struggled to get away and go towards my parents

"Mom dad please let me stay with them" I screamed as I was pulled away and started to cry

As I was pulled away the car blew up as I screamed even louder*

I woke up with a scream as I always did when I dreamed about my parents death "I hate when I dream about them and its never anything else it was just about my birthday and them dying. This is why I hate my birthday what a great way for a child's 6th birthday to end right just kidding it's actually horrible I hide how I really feel behind this mask of happiness but underneath of that I'm ruined" I thought to myself as I cried quietly to myself while holding the necklace they had given me for my birthday
